@floppylegss when someone says worst film in a Franchise, there are really only 2 important factors: 1) does it make money. TLJ and AOTC both did this. 2) does it do lasting damage to said franchise. AOTC while you can argue to the moon that it was a bad movie it did not do irreparable harm to the IP. TLJ has done so much damage to the IP that it has not recovered in strength to this day. Every other talking point in the end doesn't matter
@@blairm6128 If we measure quality of a film by the money it makes then we are truly screwed. Even in the terms of franchise, what does "lasting damage to said franchise" mean? I think we should go back to basics. Is the movie well written? And what I mean by "well written" is: Is character work good? How coherent is the story? Does the movie follow pre-established rules if it's part of the franchise? Does the movie follow it's own rules? There is a lot more that's associated with good writing, this is just of top of my head. But does TLJ fail in any aspect that I listed? Yes, it fails at every aspect. It's fundamentally broken as a movie. Not even gonna mention EP. 9 by a name. TFA is also broken as a movie because it sacrifices everything for memberberries and mystery boxes. I would say that the entire sequel trilogy is worse than AOTC. I still think that AOTC is a bad movie, but I enjoy re-watching it as a part of 6 movie experience.
I still think The Phantom Menace is the worst one but not by much. This movie did single-handedly ruin the character of yoda and solidified that the generation of star wars fans who worship these films will never understand what Star Wars is really all about.
@@floppylegss yes. That cgi frog man who jumps around like a cartoon is not yoda. That is not how yoda should ever operate in my mind. All of the wisdom and reverence for life and the force is gone in place of a warmongering ninja turtle. I cannot even begin to express how much I hate it.
Before Disney easily yes lol I remember being disappointed for the first time by a Star Wars movie. I’ll still watch it but only because I love the prequels.
Easy one to answer, no that's TLJ
@@blairm6128 really? I know the sequels get called out a lot, but Attack of the Clones always gets called out

@@blairm6128 nah rise of skywalker did more damage, TLJ is overhated - still poor.

@@floppylegssRise of Skywalker ows all of it's flaws to TLJ. TLJ had the potential to be good. Rise of S did not, and that is because of TLJ.
as someone who's never seen star wars, this was interesting
How long are you gonna keep this going ahahaha

Thanks bro, looking forward to the next film

Attack of the Clones ruined Yoda?!?!?! Phantom Menace is defo the worst imo of the prequels.

IMO it’s ROS. It’s suppose to tie together all nine movies together only to be disjointed mess. It should have been on the hype level of Endgame
It never was because Phantom Menace came out earlier
"Is attack of the clones the worst starwars film?"
Maybe before the 3rd trilogy came out, but absolutely not after.
Nah Phantom Menace was always the worst
@@floppylegss Before the 3rd triology you may be right. After the release of that excrement you're literally wrong and probably restarted.
