Wow you have done some awesome stuff Tristan ... creating art with film is a skill that I would love to have but don't know enough or have enough skill like you to try it !
@@TristanErvin it’s very rewarding to take a photo, process the negative then go through the process to get it on to the photo sensitive paper then process the paper to deactivate the photo sensitivity drip dry then take it out in the light and say “I Took This”
Well I always watch your videos and I always hit the like so that's two more always,s and i can't wait to view the wedding pictures from your new toy so have fun at the wedding bro and I'll see you soon 😁
Nice video sir. Your next purchase should be a film scanner. This will save you money over time. I recommend the Epson V600. As for film stocks, I love shooting with fuji 400h. Supper clean and a little on the cool side. Warmth can be easily added in post. Also has great dynamic range. Portra is also a good one -feels more moody and warm. Lastly I would say stay away from slide film unless you are really into the idea. It's more costly all around and is not forgiving at all in post.
Hey man! Super late on this but dude, my got me the Epson V600 for my birthday and after scanning my first few frames, it's been an absolute JOY to use. I definitely appreciate the suggestion!
Nice man! I grew up in Marietta, but no one out here knows where that is so I just say Atlanta to avoid longer conversations 😂 Preciate the follow, if I haven’t told you that before!
Eh, to each his own. Some of my favorite photographers out there use either the 75mm or the 105mm, so I think I'm good. I'll make that determination myself. 😀
Can't wait to see the new content behind the film photography. My buddy just got into (or back into) film and was shooting while we were in Chicago. I like the idea of going back to not wasting shots because u only have so many! Im hear for it bro

Thanks Hieth! I miss it. You should try it out man! It’s a challenge but it’s always fun learning something new.
That’s where I started was in a film camera developing film in the dark room adding magenta and sephia tone to black and white images etc…
Nice! I've developed my own film once - absolute disaster lol. May have to try again a few times.

Gotta flex those film muscles bro!
Kinda a long lens for portraits.

@@TristanErvin You may have forgotten equivalency. That is more like a 115mm on 35mm.
You got it dude.
@@TristanErvin Best of luck with it,enjoy. Oops I got it wrong more like a 50mm . Sorry bout that enjoy.
The film that everyone seem to get in love is cinestill t800. Definitely try it out once you get your lens.
Thanks for the suggestion! May pick up a roll of that before I leave.

That’s one of my favorite parts about it! You HAVE to be more selective because every shot matters. Sh*t’s expensive too 😂
@@TristanErvin Man I’ve heard!! I might mess with it down the line. I’ve been getting a little more into photo lately
