@@vdntptkr no there’s a rule…70% transparency for front & back windows and 50% transparency for side windows. If you follow that then the cops cannot fine you for your sunfilm.
@@vdntptkr In my state there is a rule that sunfilms should have 70% transparency in front & back and 50% on the sides. Anyone who tells you otherwise is fooling you. As a lawyer myself I know the RTO rules, but if you are not in WB this rule will not apply for you. You have to check with your state RTO rule.
That's why maruti is giving UV cut glass in there every upcoming cars like Jimmy, grand vitara, Baleno & fronx but no Mahindra, Tata, Hyundai & Honda had given in their cars even in top model Hats off to maruti suzuki they had given UV cut glass even in their offroader vehicles Jimmy please pin this message......🔥🔥🔥at least Tata should give UV cut glass in their EV cars as it would reduce cabin temperature Tesla EV cars has UV cut glass in top models......
I installed sun shade in all glasses except front windshield two times police stopped me after i told them it's sun shade not tinted glass so they allow me to go but i removed front two except rear
Law suggests that you cannot modify the glass in any way. So by that rule tints of any percentage of visibility is illegal. Like a blanket ban. But the nets are not applied to glass. So technically they are not illegal. But if you apply full curtain then you are bound to get caught.
Telling from personal experience.. I purchased sun shades from hyundai itself (the car is Hyundai Venue) they don’t completely stop the sunlight like the tint or the z black one but they reduce it.. Using it from past 2 years in delhi Haven’t got stopped by delhi police till now I even purchased the aftermarket one (not the z black one but the mesh one) for my MG Hector… Usme bhi nhi roka abhi tak (using it from past 3.5 years) Hope my comment was helpful😊

There are many car companies offering mesh net options as an accessory. If it's illegal, then they should stop selling it as an accessory.
The legal answer is the mesh provided company is to be used only when parked for controlling heat not while driving
companies offering mesh are only for rear windows... no challan or rear windows
It’s perfectly legal and the car manufacturers offer them. You can’t have tinted windows though.
