What you're talking about is eligible for tinted glass but if you're using a film on glass or any kind of privacy sun shade then it isn't allowed even if there is 100% visibility.

70% should be the minimum visibility from OEM. Anything (even 80% visibility) aftermarket is illegal.

Actually jaali hi nahi honi chahiye.. as per local police here in Amritsar Punjab. Under new instructions and rate chart any kind of jaali will bear a challan of 2000/- aur aap behas nahi kar sakte police walon se, 25 march ko mera challan kaat diya tha jabki sirf front seat par jaali lagi thi aur woh bhi official company se MG Hector. Quite good visibility but they didn't listen
