You were very lucky to find that 324 meter for that price. Nor Cal Dave has been using that UNI T meter for a couple years and swears by it.

Very lucky! I knew I had seen someone else using it but could not remember who.

I ordered the d model. As far as i can tell, it's the same plus dc amps.

    Fieldpiece sc260.
Built in magnet on the back. Bright blue backlight. Compact size. I have owned all major brands and I love this meter. $143.00 Amazon.

Can it check Milliamps for flame sensor circuits?

I have had one for a couple months now. I took that top screw out of the case and screwed a magnet to it. I like the meter it’s small enough that I always have it with me.

What glue did You use for the magnet on Your Fluke? I've seen some people use epoxy but it seems like super glue would work to me

Your drill has a belt hook on it, why not just hook it onto the side pocket. ?

I understand your desire to go smaller but your accuracy check is totally bogus. You checked one meter against another to measure unknown devices! You have no clue about the real value of your capacitor or the voltages and currents you measured. When was that Fluke last calibrated? Maybe you have the wrong size impact driver! You could save more room and weight there and continue to use a real quality measuring tool.

As a qualified electrician in the UK I use UNI-T clamp meter and a UNI-T multimeter, have done for the past five years , they are great machines, fluke are overpriced and overrated. There really is no reason to be a brand junkie. Also never use the clamp on any clamp meter for measuring current with the test leads attached . The tips of the lead will be live and if they tuch you you won’t be returning home to your family. And if they tuch any exposed metal work there will be a big bang 💥.
    Also bulbs grow lamps glow,
    Lamp holder + lamp =light soil +bulb = tulips

My leads stay on all the time when getting amp draws, 20 years, never had a problem nor has anyone else I have ever worked with. I will do a video to debunk your words of no Wisdom. Thanks for watching and keep playing with your flowers.

I have to agree with the competition meters. Fieldpiece and Fluke are well over priced when you compare similar meters such as Elitech and this UNI-T. As long as the support is equal when calling in with the tech help line etc and warranty service...how can you refuse the thought !
