I know you in particular won’t be there next year, but if your team goes there again then I definitely recommend them to check out Edisto Beach State Park and Botany Bay. The state park has well-maintained gravel trails good for one of those 50 minute easy runs, and Botany Bay is a beautiful half-mile trail perfect for fartlek workouts. The beach at the end of this trail also is surely a sight to behold with it’s unique trees-on-the-shore landscape.
