Fun with Boomerangs! My First Origami Convention & Meeting Fans

- So I went to the Origami USA Convention and got the chance to meet a whole bunch of other folders and origami designers. I also taught a whole bunch of people how to make and throw the new Ninja Star Boomerangs.

The last day I spent there, I hosted the Paper Airplane Contest with Jeremy Shafer and had a blast!

I remember back in like 1st grade, me and my friends use to make origami guns and ninja stars, the teacher told us that if we made an origami ninja star one more item, we’d lose “recess time”. Brings back bad memories because I actually lost recess time. That was like a decade ago.

I just graduated high school in 2019 and was cleaning out some old stuff found my origami paper and come back to this channel and the nostalgia hit me like a truck thanks rob for making my childhood fun

I have been watching you for 8 years. Your origami boomerang is what got me into origami. Now, 8 years later I am now able to fold very complex origami models (the black fragon by Satoshi Kamiya being one of them), but I always fold your models quite often, just to relax.
