This is the original animated Gen 1 Transformers movie. I upscaled it to 8k, color-graded it, and remastered the audio track to suit my personal taste (punchier low-end, less mid-range dominance, with some high-end clarity).

damn dude. this is great. I've got this on DVD, on Blue Ray, and now 4k, I even have a Korean Bootleg version lol. This looks as good as I've ever seen it.

@@MarkAnthony.TheOneThis is so pretty. Great work. I was 7 when I seen this in theaters. Those greedy corporate goons need to pay for what they did to Optimus Prime just to sell more toys. They could have let him live and still made as much, or more, $.
@@AndSaveAsManyAsYouCan I concur! The executives were wholly disconnected with the fanbase and this was one of the worst moves they could possibly have ever made.

I was then 13 years old when this movie was then out , even though I had the money to go see it but the nearest movie theater was a half mile away plus it was then in a bad neighborhood then and so I couldn’t go there because I haven’t seen it until it came to network tv back in 1989 one Saturday afternoon when it was then broadcast on Philadelphia’s WTAF Channel 29 & today I’am watching right now .

the only ever version where the first shot of hot rod at the fishing scene actually doesn’t look blurry and u can actually make out his face. 😂
Superb. Looks (and sounds) to me like it just might be the definitive version of this movie, at least until the upcoming 40th anniversary (where hopefully some serious cash will be pumped into a full restoration/remaster).
