Girl: I want to buy a place in Fancyville Guy: Interest rates are too high and we need to save up and improve our credit for a down payment. Fancyville would be out of our sustainable price zone too. Girl: I'm breaking up with you and going to do it all on my own. (Girl buys a $740K house at an APR of 10.2% because her credit score was 620. Didn't read that HOA fees are $800 /month)

What a stupid ad, it’s just unrealistic because my mom could never finance a house on her own even making the sufficient income even so it’s stupid in its own way as tearing apart a relationship simply because the other person isn’t ready to purchase a house yet; that would be so petty especially in this economy where houses are cheap plywood boxes, Houston Tx will go on to prove until they actually start building quality infrastructure again
I had the same sort of thought. I feel like ANYONE wants to own a home the only real reason for not being able to is not being able to afford it. It comes across as her leaving him because he was broke and she could independently afford it anyway. So this ad just feels a little out of touch.
@@Ayeverre From a different perspective, it is encouraging a breakdown of society. It's funny I see many, many women online on dating apps looking for connections and relationships... But the media shows them as well wanting to be this strong, hypersexual woman that bosses around men in her life. Lmfao. Also, I have no desire to own a home. I don't want to be in one place for more than a few years. Home buying is for people that want to settle and commit in one area.
