As someone new to Houdini and learning, this felt like the deep end of the pool stuff initially and you did a great job of helping some one with little to no camera knowledge follow along. Great job! I found your video hunting for camera tracking info, glad I stumbled across it. Looking forward to more.

i had same issue with manual approach to , now i use blender and then export camera to houdini and it`s works fine. I found what make this error, Fspy is measuring camera shift but now show in program. tnx need try your asset :)

I assume if I wanted a non-plane geometry for projection - a simple box, or a custom modeled geo, then I cant use projection plane workflow, correct? Also, is there a way to bake the projected texture so that if the projection plane cracks, for example, texture will not slide off? Alkesh.

@@fiubnl4990 It is 100% superior for things like simulating and creating motion graphics, but it just takes too long to model geometry. That's why ppl use programs like zbrush, maya, and blender to hard surface model and sculpt meshes before bringing it into Houdini. Not to mention, cycles is a lot faster and it is fully feature rich compared to KarmaXPU which lacks support for things like the shadow catcher. I've been trying to get shadow catcher to work with KarmaXPU with no luck.

Is this HDA still working? Mine throws errors - didn't know if anyone else had the same issue.

This HDA doesn't work with Houdini 19 - is it possible to get that updated?
