Hi Jeff, at the moment the Dolomites workshop in late September is the final workshop scheduled for this year. If you have any questions or if there's anything specific you'd like to know about it, feel free to drop me an email.
Hi again.. just watched a youtube clip of your band 'THE MOOR - "Emissaries" Bass Play Through video by Massimo Cocchetto' BRILLIANT!!!!! Vocals In some places reminded me of Corey Taylor..
Been watching your tutorials on Sharpening, Luminosity masks (still trying to figure out how to translate to C1) and Contrast techniques, and they're really brief, but powerful. My raw files are accumulating dust in the drives, but now I find myself getting that motivation to go back and put them through C1. Thanks for the free ebook! Will definitely check it out....(and now onto that Panorama via Telephoto )
Thank you Andrea! Awesome video, love it! Magnificent tips with great examples and easy concepts to understand. Many, many, many thanks from a rookie photographer 🤟🤟🤟
Very helpful video for telephoto lens composition! love the emphasis on creating unique images rather than standard telephoto compositions. I've recently been debating whether to go wide or telephoto for my next lens purchase. Too many pros for both to decide..
Wow, some fantastic shots there Andrea! I absolutely love the tele lens - I probably use it way more than my wide angle to be honest. Awesome content mate!
Sempre un piacere ascoltarti, apprendo sempre concetti nuovi e interessanti dai tuoi video, concetti tanto chiari da essere applicabili anche ad altri ambiti 💪
What would be a good _cheap_ alternative of the 50-140 on a Fuji camera? Would you suggest the XC 50-230? Or anything better you might advise? thanks a lot!
Hi Daniel, thanks for stopping by. The XC 50-230mm is nice. I'm not crazy about that lens, but it's a very cheap alternative that can deliver decent results. I'd highly recommend investing a few bucks more and considering the 55-200 or the 70-300. They're both an excellent and cheaper alternative with gorgeous image performance. Ciao
Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks so much! The print shop is something I'm working on, so stay tuned. And, about "The Rock", he always deserves a cameo when it comes to rocks :) Ciao
Ciao e grazie.
Grazie mille, Claudio! Ottimo tele il 70-300, regala delle grandi soddisfazioni. Se abiti in Trentino, fotograficamente parlando, hai parecchio pane a disposizione per i tuoi denti :) Ciao
Love this type of content a mix unique/abstract composition and general composition with tele! Amazing example shots too! Thinking about buying the Canon RF 70-200mm or the RF 100-500mm. What is the maximum for Landscape in your opinon?
Thanks so much for the comment, glad you enjoyed the video. The two focal ranges you mentioned are very different. The 100-500 is a stunning lens but it's very specific and with a narrower angle of view. For shooting in the mountain you might find it quite restrictive and not as versatile as the 70-200. The 70-200 range is definitely much more usable in terms of photographic options. But, as always, it really depends on what you like to photograph :) Ciao
Hi, great vid as always.. I like the Dwayne Johnson joke... Can I ask a question - I'm going to buy into the Fuji X system in a couple of months. I'm a hobbyist photographer only but I want to purchase these: X-T4 body XF 1.4x TC WR XF 10-24mm MK II XF 16-55mm XF 50-140mm No video just stills (landscapes, seascapes and walkabout etc.) will the above fill my focal needs or could you recommend another combination of gear? Many thanks for any advice :-)
Thanks so much for the comment, and glad you enjoyed the video ...and Dwayne joke :) Everything you listed is top-notch, so I wouldn't add any other item to the list. I'm not a huge fan of teleconverters, so, for my liking, the TC 1.4 is not very appealing. I think the "trinity" 10-24 / 16-55 / 50-140 is perfect as it is. Ciao
@@AndreaLivieriPhoto Thanks for the reply..so if I left out the teleconverter and Instead got the XF 100-400mm (for the extra reach) 'Park Cameras' are selling one for £1,034.00 or would adding that lens be overkill?
@@Bob-ls7uf No worries! I think that starting with the "trinity" is excellent. You probably won't need anything else for a long time. The 100-400 is a very specific lens. My suggestion is to start using them so you can understand what you really need and what you actually really like. Ciao
Just a heads up: I’d wait for the Tamron 11-20 to be ported over to Fuji. I have had both but the Tamron opens to 2.8 so you can use it for Astro at a pinch. It is also surprisingly good at macro. And it weighs close to zero! Check Dustin Abbot’s review. Re the 100-400, it’s great but heavy, and partly the reason I moved to Sony who have the tiny 70-350 which is great for landscapes APART from the fact that you’re missing out on the 55-70 (82-105) space which I find is really useful for landscapes. Bestest.
Telephoto is the “holy grail of landscape photography”?? Uh, no. Not even remotely true. It’s one approach of many yet certainly not better in a general sense than other approaches. Otherwise fine information.

You’re welcome! Enjoy your new telephoto:) Ciao

How do you find image quality with 2x teleconverter?
Definitely not good! I still can’t believe Fuji is selling it 😅
