This was amazing to see! God bless the rescuers for saving this precious life. I'm so glad they were able to make the nest more secure too. I was so happy to see the parent come back,
You are so right, not all heroes wear capes. This rescue was so amazing, that little eaglet had no idea how much it was loved. I was so thankful to see those protective railing being put into place. Thank you to this dear rescuer and thank you, Cali, for sharing this with us.
They know; they just know. I’ve seen this before with animals. It’s just heart warming to see these people who get to dedicate their lives to this kind of work.❤
“Get closer you big two legged and I’ll rip your arm off!! I got my eye on you.” Little guy was doing their best to be intimidating. Don’t know how long they were hanging there but they could have been a little exhausted too.
Bless her heart for coming to the aid of this sweet precious eaglet. Love how she placed sticks around the nest to assure this doesn't happen again Truly remarkable 🤗💞 🐥
Poor little Eaglet was so tired from the whole ordeal that s/he immediately fell asleep. Thank you to the rescue team. ❤ I could never climb that high.
Thank you Cali. The chick (Selene I believe) was very feisty, bless her heart, and very chatty. So happy they were able to do the rescue and it was successful! Thank you IWS and everyone involved.
Truly SPECTACULAR...so very gentle was this woman and just look at how that baby looked at her...priceless...What a memory for her to have gotten..now this was the best purpose for phone's I have ever seen. What a wonderful joyouse outcome. I forgot to add, the care of placing those extra rails for these babies was incredible and to see the size of that nest next to a human...WOW. Thank you with joyful tears in my eyes.
How awesome is this! Looked like junior was saying “unhand me you brute!” And, aren’t mom and dad going to come rearrange those rails she so carefully placed? 😂❤
Thank you 🥰 Nicole, Sean, and the team 😘 for bringing back the eaglet 🦅 🐥 and adding guardrails 🤩I know how big bald eagle nests are, but you can really understand the dimensions when you see Nicole at work 🌠
That little one is saying "stop with the sticks already where's my food ?" Thank you for rescuing this beautiful eaglet and the wonderful nestorations.😇😎
This scene is typical of any Eaglet in the nest confronting an intruder--Stand up , mantle wings wide and strike an open beak pose. I myself think it's instinctual and have seen it when E's are banded--all will do likewise if more than one in nest. Baby Storks are an exception--very meek when picked up for banding.
@@nicoleterio2963 Most of the Raptor family will do that as well. Chicks--hawks, owls etc. Golden Eagles in Europe are (as adults) particularly nasty. One in Romaina--few days ago--a dad sitting on 2 eggs, flew off nest in pursuit when another intruder Eagle flew in . Moments later came back to nest with its' talons full of white body down and fine chest feathers crammed in it's talons(indicating a Juv or Y adult GE was the intruder. Happy to help educate others as others have given out info to me over the yrs.
Thank you for the video! It did look like the eaglet knew the routine for examination, but I could not tell when Nicole was bitten. Again, Thank you to the both of you, Nicole and Sean!
OMG, she even does some nestorations. I love this so much. Supporting these organizations is so important. Institute for Wildlife Studios does incredible work.
Thank you very much, Cali Condor. Didn't they rescue another eaglet awhile back in Catalina Island when the mom or dad accidentally knocked it off the nest. Thank God that they are able to intervene. 🙏🥰🦅💕🦅
Thanks for Posting Cali. Good job on fleshing out outer limbs of nest by Res. Person. Looked like only left side was smooth and lacking enough railing for normal chick activity but since E fell down opposite side and got stuck, shows a lack of caution for a E unless P hooked it with a Talon flying away. and pulled it off Front side. Great Rescue here. Happy This Nest got necessary Paperwork for rescue in time. before the E dislodged itself and fell to ground.
This was truly an awesome and amazing rescue ever!👏🏻👏🏻🥳🦅❤️. I truly have the utmost respect for these two gentlemen for going up to the nest to rescue this Eaglet who was stuck and unable to move or even eat. I also want to say that Super Heroes don’t always have to be cartoon ones and that they can truly be human Heroes too. These two gentlemen has shown a great example that yes, an Eaglet can be rescued and also go through the legal ways of doing things to help an Eaglet and that to mw is all the other nest humans need to do too. Such an awesome day here for us all and this Eaglet family too. Hugs. Sue M. Florida ❤️🦅🙏🥰👏🏻👏🏻❌⭕️
As you know @Cali Condor, this nest is near and dear to my UCSB ❤… lived in Santa Cruz dorm my freshman year. Loved my view of the Channel Islands. Thankful this rescue was a success.
Thank you thank you you are an eagle angel 😇 ❤️ lol that was funny to watch, he was a sassy little shit and his angle saved him. God bless the people who do this amazing work.❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
WOW, great video & rescue !! Fell out of or pushed ? LOL. Some chicks push nest mates out to gain control of the food. How many of us see inside a bald eagle's nest !! Good job, way to go !! 🦅
Thank you ❤for the rescue. We appreciate you and everything you do. Seeing the eaglet in your hands really puts into perspective the size of the eaglet at this age. Btw adding the large sticks was a cool idea.💕
Gosh they're so cute, and very fierce! Glad the litte fella was okay! Stay in the nest until it's time to fledge, little eagle, the ground is dangerous for a young bird of any size. Big props to Nicole, I'd go two steps up the ladder and get stuck lol
If u talk sweety to the animals your rescuing it will warm their hearts & they won't feel so scared, we probably look strang to them , great work u guys ! 💝🦅🦅🦅
What a great video, thanks, Cali Condor, I appreciate all the information you give & am an IWS supporter/ Glad the nestling wasn't injured & Nicole was great, checking over the eaglet & re-inforcing those rails, feisty eaglet!🤗
3:52 = sooo damn adorable! Haha little pesky eaglet wanted to beak the glasses off or try to prove it’s a big tough lil eaglet so that maybe the giant behemoth will go away! Lol what a great job by all. Very nice.

Lingered a bit long.
😊😊😊si..tienes mucha razón
@@luisor3820 Muchas gracias por su comentario.
Maybe it was better to make it safer than have to go up there again. I’m sure they know what they are doing
@@pianoreigns there’s always one in every group and you’re it. Congrats. 🙄
The way the baby would go from defensive mode to “wait hold on will you feed me?” back to defensive mode over and over is adorable.
They need to hire Shadow! That nest would be a fort in 3 hours!
😂🦅😍🐥🐥😘
To be fair to the Bald Canyon eagles, there is not much “lumber” on the islands. It’s mostly small oak trees, bushes and poison oak. 😊
@@CaliCondor - True, Big Bear Lake and forest has much more to work with - glad the eaglet got rescued!
😂ikr!
Right on!
I think both Jackie & Shadow would be pleased with the stick placement by this rescuer = they’ve taught us humans well 😉❤️🦅🐥❤️🥰
So glad more rails were added. Nice move, much needed
Gotta love how the chicks seem to fall asleep in sync! Too much excitement, must have a nap immediately.
Сильный стресс. Устали😊
Thank you Dr. Sharpe and team.
They are really fearless creatures. As small as they are, they act like "we can take you all down" 🤣
My heart is full of awe and admiration to the brave and very loving rescuers. Thank you with tears in my eyes
I love how the baby fell right to sleep the very second she left 💗

Those were some impressive crib rails that were installed! Baby eaglet all checked over and no worse for wear..
Such a sweet, impressive rescue! ❤
I love the way the little eaglet kept looking at his rescuer.❤❤❤

Makes me appreciate Shadow, stick man, even more.
Wow! Thank you for rescuing the eaglet and fixing the nest. I was impressed at how casual she was about being on that ladder!
