It's because pixel phones are considered for techies or enthusiasts, and will always be on UA-cam researching. While the casual iPhone or Samsung customer will just blindly buy year after year.
It's so good to see fellow Pixel fans! I've been a Pixel fanboy since switching to my beloved Pixel 2 XL from my old Galaxy S6. I had the 2XL for 5 years and it remained flawless! Best phone ever! I now have the Pixel 7 which I've had since launch and it's been solid the past 2 years. I look forward to upgrading to the Pixel 10 Pro XL next year. I enjoyed the content! New subscriber here 🙂
I started watching your videos because you were doing a review of the Google pixel 7. So im glad you’ll be doing more videos about Google products. My LG used to overheat but I ❤d it! I was mad when they went out of business. Out of all the pixels which phone have you liked most? Also congrats on 3,000 subbies!!!! Peace & luv ✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽
I think one of the most interesting question is about using a Pixel (or Android in general) in an Apple ecosystem. I've always been a big Android person, used it from 2.0 until 9.0 or so. Always stick to Nexus phones or similar devices. Then I switched to iPhone 11 due to work reasons - I already had a MacBook Pro and an iPad bot for work purposes - and I experienced what a real ecosystem is. I used Android with Apple ecosystem before but at that time I didn't know anything about how comfortable that feels. Now I'd love to get back to Android, with a Pixel maybe, because iOS is getting boring, but I'm scared about getting thing "clunky" in terms of working inside the ecosystem. What do you think? What's your experience?
I just found your channel and love the approach as a realistic every day view on tech and stuff. I actually feel sad that you seem to believe you have to apologize for that frequently in order to avoid hate, the internet can be such a ugly place - just stay as you are, you are fine that way! My questions as someone caught in the apple ecosystem are: What earbuds do you use, probably switching between apple and android, and what videocall app do you use instead of facetime on your mobile? I am torn between the pixel 8 pro and the (smaller) 9 pro and the main advantages of the latter seem to be a better fingerprintsensor and a way better front/selfie cam, can you confirm that?
Thanks so much! I use over ear headphones - Sony XM4s - and they connect to all my devices via Bluetooth! I rarely video call, but when I do, I use Whatsapp. The 9 Pro has a brighter display, better battery, more RAM, a new tensor chip (which improves overall performance), and a lot of improvements with camera performance (most of which is software-based). As well as the two features you mentioned!
@@SlowMorningDiaries thx for your input and that you came back on may questions in your newest video! I ordered the base model pixel 9 today, seems to be a good value.
I'm actually thinking about upgrading to the Pixel 9 Pro. Phone looks really cool. Currently I have the S23 Ultra and I'm happy with it. I'd just like to know if it would be worth it to upgrade or just stay with the phone I have. I've never had a pixel phone but the new pro 9 has perked my interest.
I honestly have no idea how to compare the S23, as I don't know its specs. Pixels are a lot more minimalist/clean in comparison to most android phones!
@@SlowMorningDiaries thanks for the response. On that note I may just want to try something new and try a pixel phone. Ever since I've had smartphones I had Samsung's. A change might be a good thing!
I went from 8Pro to 9ProXL and the camera is a slight upgrade. Both phones got warm for me but not hot. I do notice the 9 has a smoother experience. Overall though a one year update won't show drastic improvements.
Please do give the Samsung s24 Ultra or the S24+ a try. The One UI is great and addictive once you use it. The performance doesn't degrade with time like the old Touchwiz Samsungs.Last couple of years they seem to have totally nailed it. Its a workhorse truly! :)) BTW Keep doing what u doing :)
The video looked like super nice colors didn't stutter or lag 👌 thank you for making a video using the Pixel 9 Pro as a recording device to show your able to record using a Pixel. Were you using the new 42 - megapixel front facing camera or the back 50 - megapixel camera to record?
Same here. I always pre-order for the gifts and do the trade in, or else I would stay couple years with the same phone. Also Pixel 1 watch was horrible the 2nd Gen was night and day experience it was so good that my wife stole it from me. You should do a vid comparing the Google G1 vs the Pixel 9 lol.
I just found your UA-cam channel. I have been a Pixel phone user since the first one was released. My new Pixel 9 Pro has just arrived. Please share any tips and tricks that you find.
How’s the fluidity between Apple and android products? (I ask this since you have a MacBook :) ) I’m currently using an iPhone but really want to switch to android - just nervous about using it with other Apple products I have!
Great review but would recommend inputting those little chapters so folks can skip to specific places in the video. (E.g battery, display, daily use, etc. Otherwise nice job.
I have a work iPhone 15 Pro. I've had the Pixel 9 Pro XL for nearly a month now. The iPhone only comes out for work stuff or when shooting video. It shoots 10-bit LOG video which I wish Google would adopt for their phones. Otherwise I'm using the Pixel for everything else. Battery life is stellar. If I push it I could average over 8 hours of screen time. It would be even higher if I wasn't using the GPS to commute to and from work every day.
Hey great video! Genuine question: How do you deal with google having a history of stealing personla data and selling it to third parties? Im a pixel user mysel and I`d love to hear your opinion on this topic.
It was such feel good kind of video. It was like someone in my close circle was explaining her experience. I’ve been thinking to switch to android since last 2-3 years because I’m really done with apple, bored to death with IOS. Samsung I know is great but I want something clean, easy to use because have never used android previously. This year pixel 9 pro looks good and have got my attention. Will it be worth it and easy transition? I’m not much into so called “apple ecosystem” since I only use iPhone and AirPod pro. Keep up the good work 💙

I love your Pixel videos because you actually use the phone. Most channels review it and never even put their SIM card in it lol

I've noticed with other tech reviewers vids that Pixel vids really does bring in the numbers. Keep up the good work.
Seems like a lot of people are interested these days! Love that, thank you!

I have an iPhone 15, should I get the google pixel 9 pro, I really want to switch to android
I'd say it really depends on what you're looking for in an android! Pixels are on the more minimal/clean side!
Yes you should. Having a Google Pixel will make your transition easier
I’m in the same boat, android has been peaking my interest for awhile and all these pixel reviews + Apple’s unimpressive iOS update … I need a change

Hello.
Great video.just wanted to ask you - you keep always on display or keep it on off mode.
Some people get distracted while keeping it on.
I do not keep always on display!
Do you recommend the 9? I was thinking of getting the 8
I've only had it for less than two weeks, so I can't say just yet, but I am liking it! I can say the 8 Pro is FANTASTIC and I do recommend!
you didn't mention about pixel buds pro. would you be getting a pixel buds pro 2?
No! Because I already have the Sony XM4 headphones!

Touchwiz, i remember 😅. Would you give Samsung another shot now?
Never say never! But probably not lol
Should I upgrade my pixel 7 to pixel 9 pro?
The 7 is a really great phone! It's not necessary to upgrade, unless there's something available on the 9 Pro that you're unable to access on the 7!
I've seen a couple videos of the pixel watch 3 and they say that it's even better battery than the watch 2.
Nice! Really good to know

Great video! Im gonna take a stab at it and say it’s an iPhone 11
That seems to be the consensus!
I had a similar experience with the S23 ultra even. I think after like 8 months or so it started overheating and freezing doing normal tasks.
It used to be so frustrating!!
So you’re an android person and you use a iMac i’m curious about your workflow. How do you use the android phone with an iMac?
