Mining river mouth on tropical beach in Paracale, Philippines. Like Nome Alaska they are Panning, Crevicing, Sulicing, High Banker to find fine flour gold. I have seen an old video on 20+ people mining the beach. I went to investigate if there was actually gold there. Paracale was an active fishing and small scale mining community prior to the Spanish colonial period. In 1572, attracted by news of gold deposits, Juan de Salcedo petitioned to search for mines in the Bicol region.[5] Arriving by boat from the North, Salcedo’s expedition found mining operations at Paracale, but was forced to retreat due to sickness and lack of provisions. A more permanent settlement and mission post was established by Franciscan friars in 1581. It was established as a town in 1611.

All place in the Philippines have Gold and the Local Don't know specially in Quezon I'm From Paracale Miner of 80s now here in America I wish I can pan gold here with my Batia pan

Maybe the reason that beach hasnt been mined is because that gold is superfine and they dont have the method or equipment to recover superfine gold.

I have seen a video with 20 people with sluice boxes there. Maybe its not worth it, or they got most of it already.
