Dennis didn't go to vegas on 98 finals. He did go to wcw tapings missing training. The vegas trip happened in regular season.

It's quite a misconception that short time fasting is weakening the body. It's true that it shuts down a bit, when you are resting, but it can still activate the same amount of energy - as long as you're not famished, meaning your glucose levels are depleted.
If you eat before sunrise, then rest for 10 hours, and then play, your glucose depots are more than full enough.
And, by the way: if you're used to this 16-8 fasting, it's a piece of cake. As he said, and you quoted him: it can even RAISE your performances.
Even WITHOUT that depots (they deplete after about 24 hours, even without exertion), there is still energy. I water fasted for 10 days straight, and went on a run every single day. My speed went down about 10%, the distances stayed the same.
So: not an example of "against all odds". I'm just writing this because so many people still think fasting is some kind of heroic act. It's not, at least not more than training of any kind.
(I also got myself to marathon level, in about one year - and fasted for one week, ending the fast only three days before the marathon)

You missed that during Dirk's flu game, LeBron and Wade mocked him at backstage coughing so he and his teammates took it personal thus torching the Heat.

Jordan is great and everything but calm down dude. Regular people have to show up to work sick all the damn time just to pay their bills, don't act like he's fricken superman for playing basketball with the flu.

going to a 9-5 and sitting at a desk all day is much less physically demanding than playing a sport at a professional level

I don’t care if LeBron James wins 20 more NBA World Championship rings, just as long as LeBalco Raymone James doesn’t win his 5th ring in this 2023-2024 NBA Finals. And then we can all forever say that both Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant won their respective 5th (FIFTH) NBA World Championship rings in their AGES 30s, and LeBron James won his 5th (FIFTH) NBA World Championship ring in his AGES 40s. Jordan won his 5th ring at AGE 34/YEAR 12, Kobe won his 5th ring at AGE 31/YEAR 13, and LeBron has only 4 rings at AGE 39/YEAR 21. Then more people will start moving LeBron James from his current All-Time 2nd-Place position to legitimately out of their TOP-5 All-Time list. 💯

How does that even make any sense. If he wins rings in his 40s, that would only add to his longevity and sustained excellence. He’d also have the same amount of (or more) rings than MJ, KAJ, Magic and Kobe. I think that would help his GOAT case more than it would hurt it. At the end of the day, Lebron’s prime is top 5-10 ever and his longevity is too. Would you rather have 100% performance for 15 years or 95% for 20+?
