It might not be the heaviest metal bands in Japan but they are probably one of the biggest inspirations to japanese metal today. Check out Dir En Grey. Their song Rinkaku is amazing and features whistle frys like this band and they popularized this style early on. If you want something heavier, their older song Obscure or different sense is purely obscene. They have 10 albums today and have been around since late 1990s featuring many different styles of music and their vocalist Kyo is one of the most talented I've ever seen able to sing all the way to gutturals and frys.
If they react to Dir en grey they need to Avoid obscure. It's a very bad introduction to the band in terms of their skill. that song is just for pure shock value imo
at the Chickenbreeee Rrrukuku I had to laugh but the breakdown with the tonewoods was extremely awesome. the boys' music is a bit striking but also different from many others and that's fun. thank you and have a good time.
3:42 - 4:01 is the world ending music! Honestly, this might've been the heaviest breakdown I've ever heard without vocals.. FUCK that thing was just ominous and disgustingly heavy
This is what happens when the survivors of Battle Royale get together, listen to death core music, and decide to make their own death core band, absolute madness of a tune and band, love it
If you want something video wise that isn't explicit for Dir En Grey, I'd suggest Uroko, Saku, Vinshunka, Kodou, or Revelation of Mankind. They are a bit more palletable, I'd say Saku or Kodou still have their earlier edgier sounds, but Saku slaps hard and Kodou is a very good song. The other songs relfect more of their modern heavier sound. Fun fact, it's said that Saku, Kodou, and Revelation are a part of the same story, but presented as a changing style of music.
If you like deviloof you should check out the songs dusky vision and torture, they are from there previous album, torture is the first song I heard by them, and they have more odd vocal techniques in the torture song too 🙂
When you like this, than you must check out DIR EN GREY (like this as example ua-cam.com/video/4104hqHMB0w/v-deo.html or this ua-cam.com/video/DggLg2kl9RY/v-deo.html , those are with english subtitles)
Their album Dystopia (which feature this single) was released two weeks ago and honestly it might be in my top 10 of year, overall the album is really good. Disclosed Pandora's Box is a 10min of beautiful destruction and probably top 3 Closer Song of the year for me!
Listen new album deviloof disclosed pandora's box another sick song 🤘
Up UP UP 🤘
This band is just very unique in all aspects. The vocals are bizarre. Surprised they don't have more attention than they do.
