Thanks to your post, I know what the issue is but now I can't download the new link you provided because I'm constantly being told the file is a virus and only the owner can download it. Apparently nightmare doesn't exist within my save file. I tried other characters as well, none of them seem to work besides angol fear. And well i don't want to mod her, and if i change her the code will change so it won't work i don't think. :/
Yeah i figured that out later on. Thanks for the info/help tho, the program was confusing at first, but it's rather simple now. Just took some getting use to i suppose. However i do still have some problems. I made a custom character's amy size and gave the character mitsurgi's style. And well lets just say the game doesn't like that. The ending cutsecene to story mode was the most funny things ever. Also when a battle ends there characters will push there eyelids up a bit, and just look insane. So yeah i don't know why the game is coded like that, but it does make for some weird and funny stuff. Also if you give a character 240 sized breast. Well there breast defies physics and pretty much constantly bounce with not movement. The game could of used better coding, but it gives it more charm. I suppose they thought no one would hack the game i guess.

Do you know how the hairstyle thing works? How to mix two hairstyles together? Btw this was a very helpful tutorial I was able to make Amy use a lot of styles and put her in some stunning outfits!
To use the proper hairstyle with headwear, the easy way to find out is to make a CaS with whatever headwear you plan to use and find it there. As for mixing two hairstyles, the only way you could probably do that is via manually hex editing another hairstyle in with a hex editor. If you've messed with SCV hex editing before, you'll get the idea, if not, I'll show you how to do it pretty easily.

I need some help! I extract the save data from Horizon but when I try to load it in the editor it says that it's an illegal size or something like that. Am I doing something wrong?
Try to delete it and reload it to USB device and see if it does anything. I can't personally test this as I don't have a SCIV disc on me, at the moment. If the problem persists, you may have to resort to doing what I did in this tut and manually hex out your CaS then modify them and send them back to your save data.

Hello! I'm looking for someone who can see if it's possible to move all the character's move list and speed (except for guest characters) from SoulCalibur BD to SoulCalibur 4? SC:BD fixed a lot of the broken stuff that caused Hilde and Algol to be banned from tournaments as well as fixing the game's speed/movement to be faster. There are also slight move changes and move property changes as well, which is why I want to see if this is possible. I can't host Parsec tournaments with PPSSPP emulator because its ADHOC only. Where as SC4 can be played via RPCS3, which allows local 2 player. Thank you!
TINY YODA VADER FOR XBOX Select slot , then go to Create tab Use top right box to create Vader model Up arrow. Rehash. Save Use Basics tab to set selection slot and change style to yoda. Equip Auto Unblockable S and any other desired skill. Increase attributes. Up arrow, rehash, save. Go to porportions tab. Reduce size of upper body to -5. Reduce size of lower body to -15. Increase face to 59. Increase total body w/o face to 79. Up arrow, rehash, save. Load your game anf try him out!

I believe those are the japanese names on the bottom left of the creation tab. After you load each into a row, open it in Basics and assign an open selection slot.

As far I know, you don't have to hex out any characters if you're using the 360 save, as the program will natively load those, just not the PS3 save. So all you have to do is extract the SC4SaveData from your 360 save in Horizon, load it up into SC4CCedit and do your modifications, then save them and inject it back into your save on Horizon.
Hate to be that guy, but any chance we can get a re-upload? Mediafire is flagging it. I tried bypassing it with various downloaders, but to no avail. I used to use this program back in the day on Xbox 360, even had a proper license from the dev. I cannot understand why he'd put a time-out on it to cease function nearly 10 years later... not even rolling back my Windows clock works. Would love to be able to mess around with this mod tool again on RPCS3 for old time's sake. EDIT: Actually, I was able to bypass Mediafire's virus block and successfully downloaded it, so no worries. Re-upload not necessary.

@@vastchaos doesn't work, keeps saying it's too large? "illegal file size" this is probably why it's preferable to import 1 character at a time, however, I could never get HxD to work when trying to find specific characters
my other question is, what exactly is the hex editor for? and do u need to do the hex edits if for example; you are only editing character armor/voices?
Not just voice/armor mods, you can give your character your modding a bunch of equipment/clothes that wouldn't work normally in the game do to restrictions. You can also give your character Star Wars light sabers, they work fine except for Yoda your character will be jumping all over the place missing the opponent and for some odd reason if you give your character Algol's moveset your characters arms are missing I don't know why odd.... This doesn't brick the Xbox 360 or anything.
I`ve done this so many times with success. But now I just corrupted my 100% save which took me 1 year to get. Damn I should U`ve backed up my save. Nice Video Though. I am going to go mourn my save now bye.
Me and a few others were trying to figure that out a couple months back, and I think the only person that was able to do that was Darkon360x(Lone Devil). I'll probably need to ask him how he did it. I heard it will screw up your thumbnails for your CaS if you do, though, but that's a minor thing. All else fails, you can ask him how he did it.
Im working on the same thing but Im stuck because any character with Vader's style is unselectable. If I can learn to hack the unlocked styles, Ill have it. For now, Ill tell you how to demo Vader in Creation mode. Go to the creation tab in sc4ccedit. Top right tab has a pulldown with Darth. Click top right circle and Create. Then select a save slot in your upper window. Up arrow, rehash, save. Go to basics tab and make sure you choose an open official character slot (like Yoda). After you save, SAVE A COPY, and transfer, go into character creation mode. This deletes most creations the moment a cursor goes over them or if anything is saved in game. Darth is safe in a Yoda slot. You can view the model and test play. You can even save the character. Also, any Yoda created right after Darths slot will have Darths style. Unfortunately, no character with Darths style will be viewable in character selection screens. A Darth model with a different style is playable. Darth with Yoda style is worth seeing.
I know this is a late comment but for the 360 when I do the scrolling part my character is all the way in the 3000 section and not in the 2’s like yours is how do I solve that?

you need to make a custom version of the character on your game first.

You can hack your characters up to 200% offense and defense though.
it doesnt open, it says error 0xc00000ba, only brute force, ive modded diablo 3 ros, and black ops. but brute force is difficult for my cpu

You just need a usb pal. and horizon if you have an Xbox 360.

Should. Just load up your decrypted SC4SaveData from Horizon into the program and work on your CaSes from inside your save.

@@vastchaos doesn't work, keeps saying it's too large? "illegal file size" this is probably why it's preferable to import 1 character at a time, however, I could never get HxD to work when trying to find specific characters

Clasicalnothing This works for the xbox too, I tried it. You need Horizon and a Hxd Hex editor.
my other question is, what exactly is the hex editor for? and do u need to do the hex edits if for example; you are only editing character armor/voices?
Not just voice/armor mods, you can give your character your modding a bunch of equipment/clothes that wouldn't work normally in the game do to restrictions. You can also give your character Star Wars light sabers, they work fine except for Yoda your character will be jumping all over the place missing the opponent and for some odd reason if you give your character Algol's moveset your characters arms are missing I don't know why odd.... This doesn't brick the Xbox 360 or anything.
Don't use HXD, it tends to break things...

You just need to resign the save data, that's all. Any hex editor can be used.
I`ve done this so many times with success. But now I just corrupted my 100% save which took me 1 year to get. Damn I should U`ve backed up my save. Nice Video Though. I am going to go mourn my save now bye.

Me and a few others were trying to figure that out a couple months back, and I think the only person that was able to do that was Darkon360x(Lone Devil). I'll probably need to ask him how he did it. I heard it will screw up your thumbnails for your CaS if you do, though, but that's a minor thing. All else fails, you can ask him how he did it.

I have a simple one. How do I get Darth Vader using Horizon and scc4edit? That is all I want. xbox 360.
Im working on the same thing but Im stuck because any character with Vader's style is unselectable. If I can learn to hack the unlocked styles, Ill have it. For now, Ill tell you how to demo Vader in Creation mode.
Go to the creation tab in sc4ccedit. Top right tab has a pulldown with Darth. Click top right circle and Create. Then select a save slot in your upper window. Up arrow, rehash, save. Go to basics tab and make sure you choose an open official character slot (like Yoda).
After you save, SAVE A COPY, and transfer, go into character creation mode. This deletes most creations the moment a cursor goes over them or if anything is saved in game. Darth is safe in a Yoda slot. You can view the model and test play. You can even save the character. Also, any Yoda created right after Darths slot will have Darths style. Unfortunately, no character with Darths style will be viewable in character selection screens.
A Darth model with a different style is playable. Darth with Yoda style is worth seeing.

I know this is a late comment but for the 360 when I do the scrolling part my character is all the way in the 3000 section and not in the 2’s like yours is how do I solve that?
You can skip the entire hex edit portion on xbox. Just load your save data on sc4ccedit.
