You know bc of your daughter and the hair styles you create for her has helped me overcome my shame of wearing hearing aids. I been using your style for a year now but watching even longer and now I have no fear who sees them..... You and your daughter are my style and pride heros.... She looks like a little sheild maiden, just give her her a sword and shield or heck get her bow and arrow 💘

Obviously we all know that black people braid hair and it is very beautiful but why can't you just enjoy a video about hair without making it about yourself? They don't have to mention that it (may) be from an african style of braiding. They are just braiding a girl's hair.
@@Scoring57 actually many cultures did braids. Along with the native Americans. It isn't just black culture that created braids. Vikings were known since 500bc to put their hair in such styles to maintain it. It isn't cultural appropriation... It's cultural appreciation. Don't fall into the medias sheep mentality. Other cultures use braids. SMH.

Wish I could add a picture just did this for my 17 year old daughter. Teach them that they can be strong and beautiful! They can be fierce and still have grace!
I absolutely loved the Viking-style braid! It's such a unique and powerful look that really captures the warrior spirit of the Vikings. Try sitting her in front of a movie or TV show with some putty. I have ADD/ADHD and growing up that was the only way my mom could get me to sit still long enough for the two to four hours it took to braid my hair. We did it twice a month and I would have my hair done for the two weeks between.
Don't you see she has a tablet to play games on or do something while her mom is braiding her hair?

It's a Nordic hairstyle that was commonly made by Nordic tribes and not only by Vikings. But it looks fantastic.

I'm constantly watching your videos even though I can't braid worth a damn and have extremely fine hair. I'm so envious.
I do this with cake videos!!! Never am I going to bake...EVER but I still watch those damn videos 🙈
Learn to braid (not that hard) by using someone elses hair of wool. And use some hair extentions! Plus you can come a long way with some sneaky tricks with back combing combined with pulling of the strands while braiding. But I admid...braiding yourself is hard! Specially if you have to hold up your arms for that long.
I have the same problem, super fine hair
I have reaaaally fine hair too. You can't do every hairstyle but not having to hold as much hair in your hands is quite convenient and a bit easier too. Just a tip: if your hair is reaally straight, try braiding it when it starts turning greasy, then it will have more texture. And finer braids, like a fishtail look better on thinner hair because then its more subtle delicate filigree, whatever you want to call it :)

Okay, if you noticed the childs hair is actually quite fine but shes texturized it. You can use texturizing spray to do the same thing.

I've been wearing hearing aids for 23 years.
My son in law has incredibly Nordic features (last name Eavenson) and my 2 yr old granddaughter looks exactly like him. Her hair is already halfway down her back 😮😮. I can’t wait for her to be able to sit still long enough for my daughter to try some Viking hairstyles - she will be fiercely beautiful!

The vikings were Danish, Irish, Scottish, Gaelic. They do look like they have some ancestry. The name Bailey also has deep Scottish roots, used also throughout Britain and Ireland.
