1.5 lbs Large Shrimp
2 tbsps olive oil
lemon bae seasoning
1 bell pepper, 1 onion, 3-4 stalks celery
3-4 cloves minced garlic
8-10 oz andouille sausage
1/4 cup avocado oil + 2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup crushed or diced tomatoes
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp chicken bouillon
3 cups low sodium chicken broth
cajun seasoning, AP seasoning
1/4 cup diced green onion
1 cup cooked rice - Розваги

I’m ticked cuz of the way he says andouille lol. It’s not “an” as in anne. It’s more of like “ahn” as in James Caan. It’s a subtle thing but it’s like nails on a chalkboard for locals lol. Try going to Louisville, KY and “Lewis-ville” instead of lew-uh-vul and you’ll be told real quick lol.
This should definitely be your signature dish when you open your restaurant for sure! 😋 😋 😋

I've made the Emeril Lagasse version of this several times. Although, I haven't made it in a long time. I'll steep the shells in water to make a kind of broth to go with the seafood broth/stock. I need to make it again if I find a good deal on shrimp.

Looks 🔥🔥🔥 never had shrimp Etouffee before, but I'm sure it's just as delicious as Crawfish Etouffee. We Louisianians love our mudbugs. It's Crawfish season so we will eat this dish often. Andouille is always superb❤❤❤❤

OK, somebody help me out: what’s the difference between étouffée and gumbo? Compared to Matt’s video from a couple of weeks ago, the only difference I see is adding butter to the roux.🤔

You can add less chicken broth that will give you a thicker gravy (sauce).
