A review showing the clarity of .22 caliber bullet holes on a paper target at 100-200 yards was exactly what I was looking for. And, I appreciated your clarity and professionalism. Thank you!
Thanks for Making these Video's Did a Side by side screen shot of this Scope (ARGOS)Review @ 9:34 and on the review you did on the (TALOS) @ 9:10 Conclusion for me was: Argos $379 Talos $144 Could not see $200 difference in picture so went for the Talos. YOU DA MAN !!!!!!
I haven't tested the Gosky 20x60x80 so I can't give an opinion. The big difference are the focus controls. This uses a ring around the tube. The Gosky has a 2 step dial that is more traditional.
The Leupold Alpine is a bit sharper in detail but with a little more chromatic aberration so it's a kind of a toss up. If you don't mind the smaller eyepiece, the Athlon Talos spotting scope is a better value IMHO.
Depending on what kind of quality of image you find sufficient, it could be night and day. But if budget is your concern, look into an Athlon Talos. ua-cam.com/video/USHZC_8_Afo/v-deo.html
@@MoondogReviews thanks for your reply. What about the Gosky ED scope? I see it is quite highly regarded but a lot more expensive. How does it compare to the Thalos and Argos?
If you want more durability and a slightly wider exit pupal, go with the Argos. But I prefer the Talos, becuase it's a tad sharper with only a little bit more fringing and it's half the weight. Hope you subscribe.
You seem to like this scope which is understandable since it was sent to you for free, but the chromatic aberration on this thing is absolutely horrible. Way overpriced for the poor image quality you get.

+1 on the .22LR at 100-200 yards. Bravo Blessings 😊

Subscribed and liked, just purchased an Argos. Thanks!
Welcome aboard!
Your open box display is genius. I love knowing what's in the box but hate watching 5 minutes for that info.
Thanks! Hope you subscribed.
Man I wish there was a website I could go to that had every scope rated using that USAF chart
I know, right?!
Is it better than the gosky 20x60x80 ED version?

How does this compare to the $499 Leupold SX2 20-60x80? Any reference?
I plan to do a comparison review in a few weeks. Be sure to subscribe.
How does it compare to leupold sx2 or a diamondback $500 scope?
The Leupold SX2 is a close match in price and quality to the Argos. The Leupold is a bit sharper but Argos is a bit brighter.
Do you think for most people the extra money for the argos is worth it over the talos ?
Most normies, no. Hunters and long range shooters will appreciate the wider eyepiece on the Argos.
I like your review on the Athlon Argos. If I were to purchase a scope in that price range, which would you buy?
The Leupold Alpine is a bit sharper in detail but with a little more chromatic aberration so it's a kind of a toss up. If you don't mind the smaller eyepiece, the Athlon Talos spotting scope is a better value IMHO.
Price?
Price shop between Optics Planet, B&H, Bass Pro, and Amazon which is currently 380 amzn.to/42ySWio
Hi! Is it worth buying this over the cheap emarth 20-60x60 spotting scope? Would the difference be substantial?

@@stefanic88 The Gosky are good (better than SVbony). But Talos is just as good optically and Athlon is a US company with better customer service.
@@stefanic88 I heard the same but I haven't glassed an ED. I've only thoroughly tested their base model ua-cam.com/video/3rB7oA07BZw/v-deo.html
@@MoondogReviews thanks, I ordered the Talos. It should suit me just fine. I hope it is easier to look through at max power than the Emarth
I bought this and I also have the Svbony SV46 that I paid like $85 for. The Svbony is better.
Really? What is better on the SV46?
@MoondogReviews glass is more clear. Easier to focus.
Hi.
Is it really wort to pay for the Argos vs the Talos?
Couldnt see much difference in the vid, Talos almost looks better in many shots...

Athlon aires
Ares is good too but at twice the price of the Argos.

Which scope in the $500 price range do you prefer?
Talos or Gosky updated 20-60/ 80 ?
@@johnloya3712 Agreed. I still think the Talos is a better scope despite having a smaller eyepiece and not being as rugged.
Sv46 is way better
I've reviewed the SVBony SV46 too.ua-cam.com/video/o7D3fjDXgxs/v-deo.html
