If you've got Discord installed, and Spotify: Your Spotify could be randomly stopping and pausing. This video shows you how to fix this very annoying issue! By the end you should be able to listen to music without it pausing randomly.

The issue is discord, it's an official feature to prevent people and bots from streaming music to others for free. The timer is 30(?) seconds of voice activity, though this can be anything from holding ptt for 30 seconds without even speaking, or having some arbitrary activity to inactivity ratio of background noise activating your mic.
If you use ptt and don't talk too much (or just let go to take breaths) it will almost never affect you, I have had it once in maybe 4 months now, can't remember how long before then. Voice activity is only an issue if system sounds or background noise is activating your mic.
As for streaming... It's specifically there to make it near impossible and the quick fix here may eventually be patched out. If that fix doesn't work, then you are probably watching after it has been patched, the only real solution is the permanent one, unlinking Spotify.
