"Bart became good again out of nowhere!" John Amos tells him he has to hide his intentions, so he's acting good until he can "punish the sinners". Assuming you didn't read the books because a lot of the plot holes you talked about were explained in the book. But, ya know, that's the problem with book-based movies.
do you no where I can watch it? we don't get lifetime in my country, and the other 2 movies haven't come to NZ tv either! but I happened to find them on youtube :)
This is probably one of the closer adaptations. The first one omitted Paul Sheffield who doesn't die until after Foxworth Hall burns down. I hated that they skipped over him. I really think they should have made the first two movies like 3 hrs, split it up into 2 parts and then the story is more thoroughly told. Also about the mother she had been in there for at least 10 years so her being released isn't super surprising.
Plz buy a Kindle or buy the book. It's worth reading the book first. Not to say your opinion isn't valet, but reviewing a really terrible movie without reading the book, doesn't strengthen your review.
@Kevin Falk I completely agree with everything you said If There Be Thorns was a horrible sequel the worse one if you ask me! The best was of course Petals on The Wind! Seeds of Yesterday was much better!

I love Carpani and Jason Lewis. They were perfect for their roles. Mason Cook was good too. He was evil and scary I would say.

I personally loved this movie, definitely more than Seeds of Yesterday. Especially Heather Graham's parts, the ending with her made me tear up.
You like the movies you should read the books by v.c Andrews they are so much better
