chip out tiny pieces and measure them, then react them with either Sulphuric acid or HCL of a reasonable concentration and quantity. measure the acid volume before and after the exothermic reaction to check how much of the it remains after. From that quantity of acid which was used, calculate the amount of Calcium Carbonate that was needed to react with it.
