[Installation update] Upcoming eSAIL® installations & new contracts

🎥 Produced by bound4blue and powered by the eSAILs®, we’re unveiling the next chapter in maritime transport.
In the first part of the story in June 2024, the 8 protagonists were none other than the incredible vessels who embraced the power of wind: the already installed Eems Traveller by Amasus and Ville de Bordeaux owned by LOUIS DREYFUS ARMATEURS (LDA) and the sooner to be installed Bow Olympus owned by Odfjell SE, Pacific Sentinel owned by shipping giant Eastern Pacific Shipping Pte. Ltd., MV Atlantic Orchard property of Wisby Tankers and chartered by Louis Dreyfus Company, Crimson Kingdom by Japanese giant Marubeni Corporation, Na Hiro e Pae by Tuhaa Pae and Santiago I owned by MARFLET MARINE S.A.
But, just like any great saga, the plot has thickened, and the second part of the movie has arrived, with the cast growing and the stakes getting higher. New vessels, new contracts, and a greater impact on the seas:
🚢 Fluvius Tavy: Owned by Amasus, this general cargo vessel is set to feature a 22m eSAIL®, following Amasus second contract with bound4blue for the installation of the world’s largest suction sail system on a general cargo vessel.
🚢 Cabu III: A combination carrier owned by Klaveness Combination Carriers ASA, set to feature two 24-meter-high eSAILs®. The installation marks bound4blue’s first newbuild project in China, and the first installation of our model 3 solution.
🚢 MAERSK TACOMA, MAERSK TOKYO, MAERSK TAMPA, MAERSK TANGIER, MAERSK TEESPORT: Owned by Maersk Tankers, this agreement is the largest wind assisted propulsion system (WAPS) agreement for bound4blue to date, with 20 of the company’s type approved eSAIL® suction sails to be installed on five MR tankers in 2025 and 2026.
🚢 Eastern Pacific Shipping Pte. Ltd. - Newbuild: A newbuild MR tanker will soon join the growing fleet of vessels equipped with eSAILs®! This marks the second contract with the shipping giant Eastern Pacific Shipping.
