Echo Show 5 - How to enable Clock Mode

In this video I show you simple steps so you can set your Echo Show 5 so that it will show you the time.
I will show you how to edit the different clock faces and how to enable night mode so that the screen goes darker at night.
I also show you how to stop the Echo Show from scrolling between different screens if you only want it to display the clock face. This is really useful if you use it as a bed side clock as it can be distracting if the screen is continuously scrolling.

I wish mine worked like this but it just shows a blank home page instead of the clock. I've changed all the settings that you show but I can't get it to show the clock. New echo show received today.

Definitely worked but not sure how I feel about using this as a full time bedside clock only. Feels weird to have it always on because of worries of longevity. Nothing beats a classic alarm clock but for the sale price, I’ll give it a try.

Thx for the info! So what does the "rotate continuously" toggle do exactly? It certainly doesn't stop the screen from cycling through home options selected. It's so distracting. I just want to swipe right to see weather, alerts, or last music. However, most of the time, I just want to see the time with photos as background. I feel like I'm missing something, like a device that works properly.

Got mine to kinda work thanks to this video but it does blink every 10 seconds presumably as it starts to cycle through the screens but finds nothing to scroll through. Any ideas how to stop it doing that? It is distracting when the screen goes black and then comes back on again
