- There are 4 important things you need to do after you receive your financial aid offer.
1. First appeal your financial aid offer
2. Accept and decline the aid you want and don't want
3. Complete necessary direct loan and parent plus loan paperwork
4. Begin looking into private education loans if you need additional money to pay the net cost
The Financial aid process doesn't end once you receive those offers, there's still lots to do to ensure that you actually receive your financial aid in a timely manner.

What if you have a student loan out there and are trying to get back in school . And need to apply for financial aid again to go back to school.
We just sent in an appeal. Should we go ahead and accept the current offers? Or do we wait to accept them until after we've heard back about the appeal?
