Hi MW Team, Recently I have been to Yercaud with my family on Seltos Diesel which was newly bought.. It was gem to drive this beast on Highway and Hill station -Loop road as well. Gave me 23.5Km/litre on NH road with speed limit of 90km/hour… extremely happy to own this gem.

About urban cruiser... B4 finalising my brezza 2022 in aug 2022. i was advised to hv a look on UC..stock was available.. but color choices not there...i had a doubt whether it ll.be discontinued at that time..my guess is right now. UC prices were hitting brezza 2022 ..so i opted for brezza 2022 since it was a generation update

Hi, I bought an urban cruiser back in
July 2022,....so my doubt
is that will it be an issue in future, considering it's a rebadged vitara brezza. Issue in the sense, service, and availability of spare parts and all.
We expect the the creta diesel to come with Adblue, and the price have increased by 50000inr, this is to maintain the emission norms.
You touched briefly on i20 1.4 diesel. Your views about 1.4 crdi engine from Hyundai? And whether any chance for Hyundai to bring that back or will they go hybrid?

Please talk about Ethanol addition in petrol and diesel. Effects of it on existing engines and how to overcome the disadvantages of it.
Very curious topic actually and I was striving for the answer to this. As I got know from RevNitro, in old BS4 diesel engines, Sulphur that was available in fuel acted as lubricant. Whereas BS6 Diesel comes sulphur-less. This is mentioned as the reason for Fuel injectors giving up on old diesel cars these days. Points are recommended for that,
1. Never drive less than half tank fuel. Fuel pressure helps reduce this effect
2. Make sure to use fuel from a reputed bunk as much as possible (Shocking to see magkum kuppai in one of their fuel tank cleanup shorts)
3. Use 3rd party Fuel injector cleaning additives as per recommended intervals
4. Follow the cold start procedure always and let the car ideal for minimum times as necessary even during stop of engine

Decided to change 10yrs old CHEVY SAIL ( lovely 1.3 multijet ). You have suggested to check diesel Altroz, marazzo in your podcast, i am disappointed with Altroz engine refinement, went to Mahindra ( though i am not fan of Mahindra brand ) , Took a test drive of XUV300, which was impressive with drivability and refined diesel motor and it's platform ( SAIL much much better ), then checked your review on Xuv300. Satisfied and booked W4 XUV300 diesel with 2022 year end offer. Onroad 10.7L. Yet to get the vehicle delivered. My buying decision swung from Citroen C3 (indeed an awesome city handler ) due to 70% highway usage of vehicle.

Ford Figo 2nd gen is a missing gem as well. It had a powerful 1.5tdci engine... What Ford did was it reduced the overall weight of Figo comparing the older Figo.... It really improved the performance of the car as well as the fuel efficiency. No car can match it's ride and handling in its segment. It's a versatile car.... Also this is the only car after Punto to take down polo. I don't know how many of you know that... Imagine a car within 10 lakhs that can easily take down the biggest cars that are currently in the Indian market.....!!!
Also about scross one thing i would like to mention is that Suzuki had a beautiful 1.6multijet diesel engine in the beginning.. it was a gem.... However it got discontinued as well...!!!

I had same experience bro, once ran engine and cover my fore finger with cloth and cleaning my pulsar chain. And then cloth got pulled into sprocket with my finger stucked between sprocket and chain and engine got off. No way for help just pulled my finger and saw my bone. Sticked the flesh in hospital. Still and revived skin is numb.

Don't go for Tata .. horrible experience
Dont buy. Stay away. This FCA 2.0 Litre diesel wherever is used, has lot of clutch issues. MG Hector, Compass, Harrier etc, suffer from hard clutch issues. Either the clutch gets worn out fast or rock hard. If you are willing to compromise on safety hyundai or CRDI diesels are the last option. Else, stretch and get the 700 or scorpio N.

@@satheeshR Depends on the value factor sir. Kushaq is indeed a good buy, but their turbo petrols and DSG's are unknowns for me. Since I live in a 2 tier city, skoda service is always a hit or miss and skoda are always known to provide fat bills especially after 70k kms or after 5 years. Also for 20 Lakhs top end manual, the space provided by the these skoda twinsis just like a hatchback. Scorpio N mid trims are a good buy in diesels or XUV 700 are the only options in diesel today in 2023. Another problem with tata is the 6 month service interval and their service centres are horrible and crowded too.
