I ordered a Stoke and am stoked to receive it on Tuesday. Can not wait.
Simple, the one that is charged and ready to! They are all excellent fun in there own way.
while they are running, 4 weeks of riding my evolve and one of the motors fell apart, since then and doing lots of online research it seems evolve are shit compared.
CYCLOPATH humm, I have three boards, one is 5yrs old, I have never had a problem. Speak to Evolve, they are very helpful.
@@MadDogGiraffe I guess I am hesitant as when I bought it the store had them online as if they only had a few in stock, so hurry and get yours and all that, then you order and pay to get an email it won't be here for a matter of weeks as they are waiting on stock, then after that the board didn't even last as long as the wait between paying for it and getting it, and as I understand this is Evolves major store I bought from. Pissed is an understatement.

I tried my first Evolve few days ago after 4 years of random chinese boards, Meepo, Yuneec. WTF IS EVOLVE.. mother of god.. the acceleration alone is 40KM\h INSTANT. Now Im gathering funds, selling my organs to buy one in east europe here. Bamboo GTX :)
How do the AT wheels deal with glass?

My goal with my boards is range first, speed second. Reason why i keep street wheels on my Evolve GTX.
I now need a Stoke and carbon in my arsenal.
Nice machines but I'll pass. I choose a Vestar Black Hawk. More power and tourque, range, Better climbing,higher top speed. For nearly half the price. I don't care for the companion app either. I paid less for better performance. Easy decision.
Someday I MUST have the 2-in-1!

Want to get GTR but with cloud wheels or foamie wheels. Something between ST wheels and AT wheels.

I got myself the Carbon GT. I won’t upgrade to the GTR. Why? Nothing really big is different. If I wanted an upgrade to the GT carbon I think the Metroboard X will be the best replacement for an one step upgrade over the Evolve boards. Evolve needs to build boards with 6000 series motors, 4 wheel drive or something for me to come back to them
it's a shame the Stoke doesn't have the option of bigger capacity battery.
being a late 80s skater I would rather the Stoke even for long commutes . still Cool

I finally got to try EVOLVE after like 4 years of riding all kinds of random chinese boards like MEEPO, YUNEEC etc.
And OMFG.. Evolve GTX is a LIFE CHANGER for people who already have riden electric skateboards and wanna upgrade.
The remote is bloody PERFECT, I love the trigger acceleration and break.. but most of all 40KM\h INSTANTLY.. that is sooooo insane, I cannot begin to describe how incredible it feels.
The board itself is nice and big and very comfortable to ride on, GTX BAMBOO.
So gonna try and order the Bamboo GTX asap here in East Europe.
PS! Please add some motor guards so it would be safer to place it down on it´s rear when travelling with it in your hand.. and if possible a handle on the side of the board so easier to transport.

Which is the best deck to get out of carbon or bamboo
if I want to ride predominantly off road and I want to enjoy the comfort of the ride but also have fewer stacks and better control.
BTW I’m tall and slim build for weight vs flex on bamboo

G'day... I'm thinking of buying a package deal 2nd hand...an evolve gt and evolve bamboo pintail...so neither have controller and charger... I looked up the price for gt controller and charger but can't find the pintail controller...will the gt controller work for both
You will need to hit up our service team for Pintail parts (getting old so we don't carry a full range so might find it difficult to get parts depending on where you are). A brand new GTR would be a much easier solution and you'd get a high-performance board!
If you have the full range bamboo can you purchase a travel battery and leave the large battery at home for flying?

I am a novice snowboarder who has never skateboarded before, which board would be the best for a person like me who won't be doing any tricks but just riding to practice for snowboarding

Where do you get the impression the gtr does 31 miles with 97s? I be lucky to get 19 with my 97s or are you talking eco mode all the way with no wind and perfect asphalt?
OmniClipz The record is 45 miles on 97s. Unless you’re going up a hill or doing slides in a car park the whole time no way you only get 19 on street. If so check your belt tensions or make sure you battery is correctly calibrated.

I just stick with my carbon GT
I've been a big fan of your electric longboards for years.
Unfortunately, I live in Switzerland and our policy is very slow when it comes to regulating road transport.
This always gives me unwanted conversations with the police. But there is the option to get the Boards checked so that they can be used on public roads.
Is there any plan to do that?

I have got a Carbon GT board and would like to know, if the 14 ah batterie from the new Carbon GTR fits inside. When I drive uphill in GT-mode, the percentage drops from 80, 90 or even 100 to something like 20-30 and it sets me into ECO-mode. When I come to a standstill, it recovers to the percentage it showed before.
Will the bigger battery pack (if it fits) solve this issue? If not, will the new R2 remote change anything? Is there some software-update related to this?

Hi, The GTR battery will not fit inside a GT and the other electronics are different too. Your battery might be getting a bit old now and decreased performance is natural - you can talk to your local Evolve about getting a new battery in there. Thanks!
@@evolveSkateboards Thanks, however, that issue has been present from day one... So will the new software that comes with the new remote change anything?
They don’t care about the customers who bought the GT or the GTX, who had battery issues. They just recommend you go up a hill at 10mph...
@@alwayssomething6778 It seems like that. I asked a similar question regarding this problem a while ago and they said basically the same thing and didn't reply to more specific questions...
But regarding the new software of the R2 remote: will it change anything? Do you have experience regarding this topic?
