Make a workbench from scrap wood!

- I’ve been working in this garage shop for about a year and it was high-time for an upgraded workbench. It had to be cheap because I knew I'd mess some things up on the first try. Luckily there was a bunch of junk 2x4’s, 2x6’s, and MDF in the rafters and I salvaged some wood from the bench that came with the garage. I’d say it turned out to be a decent starter workbench. Someday I’ll make a sturdier shop table but for now… this is what I got.

You’re very funny! Thoroughly enjoyed these 7 mins.
Thanks for staying to the end!
I think you did a great job upcycling what you had on hand. Keep up the great work. I’m interested in the work you are doing. The idea extending the clamp was brilliant.
Thanks Dennis!
Project Suggestion: what about making a fold down workbench for inside the garage that is attached to the wall using French cleats and something that’s not super heavy with storage cubbies inside the panel with a drop table and legs…maybe make the fold down work table using a pallet or two.
Great idea. I have another car camping project in the works but need to fix up the shop soon.
Nice job, love the humor… keep it up!!
Good to hear Jeffrey! It’s hard to know if the jokes will land when I’m talking to myself in the garage.
Bro, be careful sanding old painted boards. #leadpaint
I was wearing a lead rated respirator but admittedly was not fully protected with goggles and gloves. Next time I’ll be a little more decked out. Thanks for the concern.

I like the dowel joining method!
$40 is totally expensive.. But great job!! Since you asked....waste less glue.. I have a set of casters somewhere I saved from another project.. Dowel rods.. Shoot. I dont have any anymore.
But I totally want to make one of these.
Great video!
Great sunset!
Easily one of my favorite things to do is to take a bunch of crap wood from the basement and turn it into something worth using. 👏👏👏
We're a couple or Rumpelstiltskins.
Been looking for something like sketchup, thanks.
Just discovered this- love your channel dude!
I love the way you think, you remind me so much of myself, I very much enjoy watching you work, and I was surprised when you mentioned wabi Sabi because that's also something I enjoy.
Great video!
Thanks Kevin. Wabi Sabi is a wonderful thing!
Excellent video, Dude! Looks like you've been a content creator for years. Good videography. I'm addicted to The UA-cam but as a professional UA-cam viewer, it looks to me like your 902 followers will definitely have a few more zeros in a couple of years or less. Keep up the projects! Well done!
Thanks a lot Bryce! I’ve been a pro UA-cam viewer for years too. Haha. Comments like these keep me motivated to make more.
Hey, what is with the no nonsense approach? More nonsense that is approachable.

At 3:37 - Don't those cuffs catch a lot of sawdust?
Hahaha yes they do. It’s my DIY dust collection system.
