Info about Resident Evil 4 Remake:
Survival is just the beginning.
Six years have passed since the biological disaster in Raccoon City.
Agent Leon S. Kennedy, one of the survivors of the incident, has been sent to rescue the president's kidnapped daughter.
He tracks her to a secluded European village, where there is something terribly wrong with the locals.
And the curtain rises on this story of daring rescue and grueling horror where life and death, terror and catharsis intersect.
Featuring modernized gameplay, a reimagined storyline, and vividly detailed graphics,
Resident Evil 4 marks the rebirth of an industry juggernaut.
Relive the nightmare that revolutionized survival horror.
You can easily tell if someone played the original when they go "Yep, here it comes" then "Oh! a knife?"
The moment he puts that little bit of distance between him and Leon your heart just sinks as you realise they didn’t decide to change his fate
I’ve seen enough media to know “the angle of death”.
As soon as I saw the distance and how he turned his back I knew right then and there he was gonna die again😭😭😭
@@finleymorris04just as he says about taking some fresh air😭
Luis finally got that smoke he's wanted since the original
dawg….😭
No gum tho
Took almost 2 decades but we got there in the end
That just code
"You know those things will kill you"
-Leon Kennedy
When he asked the question "People can change, right?"
That hit me so hard 💔
That stuck with Leon because he even asked Ada has she change? during the boat ride to the island.
@@MrBGP006 wow nice
@@MrBGP006And then he asked Ashley if she likes thrill rides on the jet ski, same thing Luis said on the minecarts. Luis rubbed off on him a bit
I wish Leon answered with “only if they want to”
Still hurts until now :'(((😢😢😢😢
Gave me Motivation enough to Defeat Krauser….
*He made it Personal*
You didn’t?
Agreed. Krause made it personal & that made me determined to avenge Luis.
"You were a fine knight, Don Quixote."
In the end Luis tried, tried to fix his past mistakes, tried to set right what he helped make wrong, tried to be a better person. To me that makes all the difference in the world.
Making Krauser the one who kills Luis was one of the best changes. In the original, I wanted to get to Krauser because he kidnapped Ashley, but he never did much on-screen to make the player feel how Leon felt. Now both Leon and the player are given a reason to hunt down Krauser.
1:54 You know... I led a pretty shitty life, but now eh? What do you think Leon, people can change right? That lines always make me cry.
Bro, fr I remembered Arthur's redemption in rdr2 😢
The way the devs captured the pain and sadness in Luis’ eyes as he said that last line. They really nailed the scene.
Especially his last line, the voice actor delivered it so well. That line broke me
Out of all the resident evil games I've played Luis death and Jack's heartbreaking speech from 7 are the saddest scenes in the trilogy
Trilogy?
@@nerad1994 each resident evil games have its own trilogy or saga. Like Luis death here is from Bioterrorism Trilogy (RE 4,5,6)and Jack final speech is from The Winters Saga (RE7&8).
Also ethan sacrifice when he say goodbye to rose from RE Village
my personal pick for saddest RE moment is piers' death
@@ciromarin5716 haven't played 6 but I was watching a video of all the people Chris has Lost the other day and piers death was probably the saddest in the video
Brothers and sisters I just want to tell something damn that shit hit different then the original 😢 rest in peace brother Luis 🥀
nah it was sadder in the original
@@38achref26 Good for you, but I think we all have our preferences, our ideologies, our tastes, but I empathize too.
This was way more sad than it needed to be
It was meh.
They did the character better in the remake. I knew he was gonna die because of course, it’s the same story after all but i was legit more emotional when he died this time. In og re4, i was like « nooo ! Oh well » now I was like « you son of a bitch krauser, you will pay for killing my bro »
@@YhwachTheAlmighty. the originals meh it has no emotional impact whatsoever
@@SICPARVISMAGNA3018
So they got Luis correct both his deaths were meh.
@@YhwachTheAlmighty. the original he has little impact even Ashley ignore his deadbody lol😂
"people can change right?"
the expression on his face man. it gets me. i cared about luis in this version then the previous one.
they REALLY improved Luis' character in the remake. I got way more attachedto him than in the original and having him killed by Krauser but having him shooting him was way better than the "Bitch in the red dress" moment.
I do agree that it’s better for him to save Leon rather than ada but his death in the og was so much more surprising
Yea but we already know it's coming cause most have played the og so it wouldn't even be surprising anymore
@@dandelion1469 Sure but even with that knowledge it was a sad moment. In the OG it was more like "Well...yeah he ded." Here it felt different, since we got more time with him
@@neiloconnor7776 the og also had Saddler do it and then just leave instead of killing Leon and kidnapping Ashley who is IN THE SAME ROOM whilst he had the chance.
@@finleymorris04 Ashley wasn’t in the same room she was in the room next door but yeah that always was weird to me to but I guess it’s in line with his character since he’s very similar to leon in that he’s overconfident and gets others to do his dirty work
After they gave Luis such strong plot relevance as the ex Umbrella scientist who created Nemesis, i feel like his survival twist adds more interesting scenarios plotwise.
Especially now they gave him way less deadly death where other characters survived worse in RE stories. And he died in the castle not in the island where everything blew up, so his survival twist is the easiest to do. Notice Luis passed out and cameback after the stab to save Leon despite his injury, so there can be a twist that he was just in another coma and not dead, or could be developing some regen sample he was testing on his body which explains the suspicious scars on his left cheek and neck in close ups pics, but he never tried fatal injuries so he said what he believed would be his last words to Leon but in reality he could be just in coma while healing.
In RE4R notes Luis was planning to trick Ada to keep the plaga sample for himself to control creatures to beat Saddler, so if he survives he'd totally make Nemesis 2.0 he can control to fight for the good side to help the main cast beat other BOWs, we get to play as the freaking Nemesis controlled by Luis who'd be doing cool stuff with his Red9. There are many neat ideas they can do with Luis after they retconned his story.
A scenario where Jill would try to kill him for creating her 1st nightmare Nemesis, and Leon would stop her.
Luis might as well just turn himself into another Nemesis and he just regularly transform between human/monster form, because of his previous canon experience in developing parasites/viruses he can do literally anything.
That’s a good way to see it, it would be awesome to see an older Luis meeting again with Leon in another game or movie
The copium is real buddy. He’s dead, although your information would have been suffice.
@@Crimson_Hebi I'm not coping I'm asking capcom to do the right thing because Luis survival improves the story in the remake verse especially the devs refers to the recent remakes as its own continuity means there's an intended distinction between canons.
And according to Luis notes he actually normalize creating BOWs if he can develop it in experiments to fight for the good side, which is why he even agreed to work on Nemesis.
Also saying "i don't want anyone else to get hurt" or "I'll have to, for the world's sake" when talking about obtaining the sample for himself....He was THAT close to turn himself into Nemesis 2.0 to beat Saddler.
@@jojo1cool Again, all vital information in regards to his history during the events that took place in RE4, but nothing more will come from Luis other than what they’ve done in this remake. It’s why you have all of this information already so you can assume what could have been, but in reality, nothing more will come from this considering he’s dead.
@Crimson Hebi "he's gone, nothing will happen, stop"
Not when the devs refers to the remakes as its own continuity confirms there's an intended distinction between canons, making Luis as Umbrella guy who worked on Nemesis is a huge retcon not a retelling, they might as well retcon Wesker's fate in RE5R because the remake verse is different than the OG.
Plus, i wouldn't have wrote all that if his death wasn't with a stab and how he comesback after the stab to help Leon, where other chars survived worse! Dude who made Nemesis and Regenerators dies with a stab? That's like the easiest set up for a character death to leave it open for a survival twist.
Also I'm not saying this or that will definitely happen, I'm discussing the possibilities if they bring him back and what they can do with Luis as they consider the remake verse different than the OG, so i don't get why are you arguing about my points.
I know how obvious the death was set up to some people but, I genuinely didn’t expect it
Dude I cried at his death, I loved his character so much!
Both games are so special, I can't actually decide which one I prefer more. They each have things that make them unique and each have such memorable moments and gameplay.
RE4 2023 is the real events that occurred
RE4 2005 is the "in-universe" hollywood movie that was based on the events when revealed to the public(Leon personally told the director to make him less dorky lol)
He was like Arthur. Tried to do the right thing. It was Luis's Redemption. This made me so Sad as well as angry
damn that last streamer didn’t even seem to care that he just died lmao
But did you notice she was THERE? And she was cosplaying as ADA? She was THERE. You should have noticed. That's super important.
I have encountered this since I got the game. This legit got me a tear out of it. Adiós caballero. Te vamos a extrañar amigo (Goodbye fine Knight. We will miss you friend)
Gosh, MissMikkaaa never knows when to shut up.
luis death: noooo luiss
after scene: "open map" oh treasure..
You should also add the scene of "Youre a fine knight Don Quixote" I think its very emotional
DASHIE LOOKS SO SUPRISED THE WHOLE TIME 😂😂💀💀
he was for real shook
Dashie overreacts
Definitely sadder than the original. Especially considering we spent much more time with him this time.
nope in the orginal it was way sadder
@@38achref26nope. The og is quite cheesy his death
Miss wasnt even paying attention lol
I actually was sad when Luis died 😢
El caballero went out a hero. I love that.
i was in og but not remake it was way sadder in the og
That is an honorable death of luis
Better than the original .
The background music etc catches the emotions
Between Dashie making unfunny jokes and faces the entire time and MissMikka barely paying attention. I have to wonder how people can watch them play a narrative driven game
Too bad
Between Dashie and Mikka, they basically tap into the basic bitch general public. Dashie just screams like a 5 year old, barely pays attention, Mikka follows suit, the dumbass general public claps their fins like circus seals.
Fr tho
But at least Dashie knows where to stop
The last one didn't even care bro wth. Just played with her glasses and drank.
Minor note but I like how some people still call Luis like "Louis", much like how Leon did in the original lmao
PS: Yes Forspoken is the middest game ever
This actually made me tear up when I first played.
Rest Well Don Quixote
Luis Last word really have deeper meaning with RE theme
So true
Damn can’t believe he killed Antonio
I don’t know if I was the only one who wanted his suit as a costume of Leon
Hi, I'm a mo cap performer and wanted to share a painful story of mine about the these REmakes.
In late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the motion capture role of Leon for the RE 2.
I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part...☹
Now many years later, when I see how successful those remakes are I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity.
In this business one audition can change your entire life.
try contacting some indie game developers i am sure you can build yourself backup!
keep trying don't give up!
i don't know how will AI or how much it will affect the job process as of now
but i think you still have chance until 2034 at least.
@@ruberxwibebadhi I recently recorded a new voice demo for Platige Image but there's still a long way ahead. Thanks for the feedback.
@@AnxMa
Nice
@@AnxMa dont give up kyodai you are gona make it to the top
@@Leon_S._Kennedy Thank you.
I was actually shocked when it was Krauser. Never in my life I was that shocked for a game. Except the last of us 1. You know what part 😢
TBH at least we got more Luis than in the original cause in the original (spoilers)
Luis died to saddler in the castle in the room where you free Ashley from her restraints. Luis died to saddler stabbing him in the back piercing his body with a giant tentacle with Luis’s last breath he gave Leon pills or meds to slow down the parasites
He died so Goofy in the original lol
@@yakHH123 true but he was still goated
@@yakHH123 I laugh a lot at his death in OG 😂
Well Luis was the hero we needed 😢
RIP 🙏
That last streamer was a massive L she didn't actually care
"This is so sad. Now look at me. Yep, I'm here and dressed as Ada. Priorities, people."
You should see ohkaty’s reaction to the death she’s a big W 😭
@@MillieDuuyoo i just saw her reaction😢😭
If only Leon gave Luis a green herb, we wouldn't have lost him.
Or a 3 color heb, Just how cool would it be if we had luis during the final 3 chapters( the only way they can balance the difficult is adding more ememies to fight)
I miss the “Luis?! LUUIIIIS!!”
OG Leon casually mispronouncing Luis? Yeah I miss it too!
Sadder when you read his backstory in the village when he was a kid
F por Luis te vamos a extrañar mucho 😥😢😥😢😓😭😓😭💖💖💖💖🕊️🕊️🕊️
I find Luis death much more heartbreaking in the remake than in the original. Capcom's teams have worked much more on the different important characters than in the original and it's really a great job.
Don't need the last woman
Miss mikaa is too unreal lol
Exactly
Luis: *This is good... Isn't it?*
Bro stop dont do that i remember this scene from mg 😢
I remember them days, only to die shortly after I hated that
If you guys went to the house near the lake docks, there are letters there about Luis' grandfather, it explains his grandfathers death and the daughter/mother of Luis.
Louis hits hard because of the "Ive led a pretty shitty life.... What do you think Leon.... People can change right?"
love your videos
Dude Luis made Nemesis that’s a big regret he felt.
That last girl
Sigh
Yay you did it! Thanks!
Less gruesome, more saddening
I never play the original game so this moment was shocking to me. Not to mention that right before he died I said “I hope he doesn’t die” just for him to die instantly.
What I really liked about the final fight between Leon and Krauser is that at the end, Krauser calls him Leon instead of “rookie.” It was nice but also sad too.
Crowbcat has the balls to call Re 4 remake soulless.
Only RE village and Re 4 remake made me relate to a character.
Dude is blinded by nostalgia bruh
I am glad they added so many gameplay with him, made his death even sadder than original
Leave it to Dashie to take a sad moment and make a joke out of it multiple times
that's why hes the best youtuber😆😆😆
@@GOLDFISH3615 Nah he ain’t funny like how he used to be. He overreacts in most horror games and his jokes get repetitive after a while
@LF Android 21 when? Ok??? Who asked?? Like he is still funny. You know people grow up right?
It is raining.....
I would’ve shed a tear if Luis said “Adios, Leon” before he died
I liked this end for Luis more than the original
Would love to see Cory’s reaction when he comes back :)
Same man, idk why he still doesn't upload the next episode
You were a fine knight, Don Quixote
I cried the first time, and I’m apparently not healed from the trauma. Two chainsaw controller salute
" Fuiste todo un caballero, Don Quijote".
This guy tanking every weapon and explosive you have only got killed by a knife.
Cutscene weapons are op.
After Luis's death I got so pissed and went full John Wick in the Clock Tower.
I almost shed a tear in this. Especially since it reminded me of the ending to MGS4.
But wtf is this? Only 1 dude had a genuine sad reaction. The others seemed like cold fucking sociopaths.
I loved this part my fav charecter what an intro
Why did you put the last streamer in this video?
I got sad when he died. I'm not usually like that
No way I ended up crying like a baby
Luis deserved better!
It is really sad our boi Luis died. But. Dashie...kinda...kinda made me laugh...2 times....please forgive me.
Can we get a reaction video of knife fight between Leon and Krauser
Dashie had the best reaction.
Dashie.... needs... to fucking chill
GOTY DEL AÑO Y PUNTO!!!
2023 ❤❤
16:49 I mean... he is dying... but she's KILLING IT
Yeah, I agree with you.
4:11 damn that woman is as interesting and expressive as a wall
Last woman sucks man... the disrespect is huge
You dis well... Don Quijote
I freaking miss Luis so freaking much. T_T
People who say is death was "meh"
Probably didn't understand the build-up
And okay, it your opinion
But for some. his death was personal
15:35 is there any worst reaction than this?
I don't know why, but his line about people can change reminded me of Arthurt
Based on the most replayed part, we all came for Dashie
Love how the most replayed is Dashie's part
why did you cut the scene of Leon vs Krauser? I found that scene pretty good
Fuck am gona miss luis he was my kyodai
Dashie has a leon figure lol
i wonder if cory will make it here and how he will react I seriously cried because it was brutal and just hit hard and the thing is its been leading to this and i had hope he would survive because from what i remembered the double gigante boss was after Luis death and when the line people can change right just hit me hard
Everyone hates on Ada's voice acting, but I'll take her subtle rendition over Krauser's anime splooge-fest any day.
Major Krau... wait!! Biff!! What the hell you doin here!!!
This scene is what makes "Real men" cry..such a "bro" scene...these girls laugh cause they are so shallow to understand..but guys almost cry
I wished they would have let Luis live. In the original I didn't give a f, but I actually liked Luis character in this new version :(
rip antonio 😢
