We survived the UK's deadliest hike (Crib Goch)

Crib Goch in Snowdonia is reported as the UK's deadliest hike, claiming up to 8 lives each year. Mountain rescue receives over 200 calls annually to rescue hikers attempting to summit Mount Snowdon.
As our Snowdonia adventure continues, we make our way to Snowdon to take on this new challenge. Although we've hiked Snowdon before, the Crib Goch route is on an entirely different level, with grade one scrambles across a jagged rocky knife edge, with strong winds in all directions.
Although the Crib Goch hike isn't one for novices, it's an amazing challenge and the views at the top are spectacular and some of the best in Snowdonia.
If you're looking to hike Crib Goch, remember that it's not to be attempted in foggy or wet conditions.

If you pursue the boating/sailing impulse, be sure to get a catamaran and skip the mono-hulls…but as owners of four boats in a row, realize it is a lot of work.
