Yippee for the Ford Cosworth! Another educational video taking us back is Aussie racing history. I’ve owned holdens and fords but was a bit of a brocky fan and partial to my VL commodore. Yeahhh! Cheers 👍😎🇦🇺
Thanks Das That Cosworth is a classic! I try not to waffle too much as I just what people to go oh yer i remember that and bring back good memories Brock was a legend and King of the Mountain 🍻
Thanks Graham You will be happy to know that was the last Ford for awhile 😉😁 I just hope Fox and Wols realise as notifications can be all over the place 🍻
Beautiful car! I remember Dick Johnson because he sometimes raced in the NASCAR Winston Cup series here in the US during the late 1980s. He, along with Dick Trickle, must have made life interesting for the announcers, Lol. I loved it when NASCAR went to Australia back then. My favorite drivers were Neil Bonnett and Bobby Allison, and they did very well there. At the time, I was hoping NASCAR stock car racing would really catch on and become a worldwide series.
Thanks for your comments Denis I was there at Calder Park Thunderdome (1988) in the infield area watching Neil Bonnet take the win in his #75 Pontiac and I was standing at turn 3 when DJ had the big one Like you I wished NASCAR went international then I would have got to see Earnhardt, Gordon etc. I think DJ got hurt at Talladega so that’s why he never came back to the USA You might find Day 22 very interesting as well Thanks for taking me down memory lane mate 🍻
@@3roomsraceway612 Awesome memories! Bonnett won the first race I ever attended, the 1979 Firecracker 400 at Daytona. I pleaded with my dad to take me there (4 hours away), and thankfully he finally gave in, Lol. I was that lunatic kid, standing all the while at turn 4, cheering him on as he passed by, lap after lap. At one point, he was far out of contention (and had nearly slid into Lake Lloyd), but I still cheered him on. Somehow, he was able to work his way back to the front pack and magically take the win! The best day of my life at the time! I think I do remember Johnson's wrecks at Calder Park and at Talladega. It's a shame he was unable to return afterwards, would have been great for the sport when it later hit its heyday. Bonnett was also a hard charger, and always showed everything his car had, never holding anything back. It cost him many major injuries and ultimately his life, but I don't think he would have had it any other way. Also a very genuine person, by every account I've ever known. I'm eagerly awaiting day 22 (as well as the rest!). Keep up the great work!
Hey we seem to be late to the party🎉🎊Gee thanks Team 3 Rooms didn’t realise we were so ❤️ really appreciate your support. We know what our next video will be now, it might involve a purple buddy🙋♀️🕺👉🎄

Nice vid, Benny Hill and Walter Matthau. Good joke/saying, I use it often. Love how you put lights in cars without.
