I've watched this video about once a month for over a year now and it always amazes me that this young man is only 22yrs old! I know guys twice his age who aren't half as mature as he is! I'd love to see this badass 359 setting in my driveway for damn sure! Awesome video and awesome ride my cb friend! Keep on keeping on!
this is hand's down one of the best looking Pete's I've ever laid eyes on. that color scheme is phenomenal to say the least. I love that old style "66" double sleeper....timeless style!
Eric Moon I wondered what size that sleeper was
This dude sneaks into a show while being in the middle of a haul job. What a legend.
Lots of ppl do
Very well done Kiegan! You knocked it out of the park sir. One of the most beautiful Pete's I've ever seen. Thanks for what you do out there every day. And thank you Chris for another fine interview.
This has to be one of the coolest videos I've seen in so long, and it's 8 years old!!!
These are my favorite vids I love seeing them picking up and dropping loads and the inside the cab seeing them respond to your questions is AWESOME
What a GORGEOUS truck. Big props to the O/O out there keeping their rigs spotless. It motivates me to shine my rig and I'm a company driver.
This Peterbilt is one of my favorite on UA-cam!! Keep clean and shine always 👍👍👍
I'm still upset with Peterbilt for stop making the Legend 359's and 379's class; someday I'll bring it back in style thanks Chris love it!
love this format. it's nice to see the driver, inside the cab, loading etc. hope you can make more videos like this one.
The first three minutes would be stellar parts to clip for an AAP commerical if they sold truck parts too! .. They'd owe ya'll some $$ for that footage. Great vid.
The new school of the old school! I love it🎇
another masterpiece!!! those trucks are amazing...damm!!
Chris, This is by far your best video so far. All of your videos are just getting better and better. Keep up the great work
Look at that real trucker ALWAYS looking at his mirrors!
Jeremy Berlanga he’s tweaking lmfao
When my dad was teaching me to drive, I couldn't tell you how many times he yelled at me to check my mirrors.
No because he doesn't wear a seatbelt lmao
@@MustangDesudiroz I know lots of guys that don't wear seat belts, doesn't make you less of a driver because you don't wear one, we come from the old school way of trucking!
If you're a good trucker? You always keep track of what all the other idiots are doing out there? Lol
Maaaaan what a beautiful truck! Luv the old school steering wheel. As a matter of fact it's on this month's picture in the calendar. Real nice👍
Saw that truck at GATS this year. It certainly was unique!
Man, I love this truck! Top notch job as always Chris.
Best paint job I scene on here, just cus I love that color.
Someone pass him a cushion for his seat.
..A cushion runs about $75,000...That's why he doesn't have one ! ! ! Don't take cough syrup if you don't have a cold ! ! ! !
Sit on the floor & ride out the best way!
thats how you ride man
Man loved how you kept going in and out of the cab when the driver was talking; I really hope you keep that going.
Thanks! If there is an opportunity to set a camera then yes :-)
Nicholas Melvin the
hes always done that dumbass...
@@BigRigVideos I cannot tell you well enough how much I enjoy these videos, They make me feel like I am still out there I had to retire after 18 years of driving due to medical reasons. I am truly thankful for the time I had in a truck
I was thinking the same thing
I real like that rig and my dream truck too , don’t give up trucking there youngster . Stay safe and God bless you .🙏
definition of perfection
Hi Love your Channel Great Selections Another Great Job Beautiful Rigs 👍👍😁
Wow love that colour , sharp looking ride !
Great video, beautiful truck!
Who thumbs down this video.. seriously.
Great job chris
I got his truck as my background on my phone.
good 4 u .
I need it for my screen shot lol
Thanks for another great video. Like the view from inside the cab.
The old school steering wheel brings me back to when I was learning to drive in an old TransStar International two axle cab over...never broke 20mph going up the grapevine
Love how he sitting low to the floor , I have a low base seat in my truck and love it people in my yard say how you see out the truck well I tell them I can see cause I use to haul cars and with the car over your roof your use to not seeing anything and the seat is very comfortable and if you drive a Mack you now leg room is like your sitting on a bleacher in a factory seat, love the vids and great interview ,
Beautiful truck and trailer, I love the color, I had a 96 Dodge Ram 1500 that same color. I brought a enclosed 5x8 trailer and had it painted the same color, with decked out lighting. I really loved that truck, someone make me wreck it, I miss that truck.
Thanks for sharing the ride along and convo with the driver. What I didn't or don't understand though, is why does he sit so low in the cab while driving? I thought the higher you sat, the better.
Ok, this to me at least is the best looking Pete I have ever seen. Love the sleeper and the old school look
why do i like this video?..... too many reasons. this truck is awesome and video director talented
That truck a a beauty.
I wish i could drive it!!
This is my favorite truck
Great video ! Really appreciate what you doing, it makes me going !
Nice truck and horns
Nice Interview! as always haha :D
Another way cool video Chris, that one sweet looking Pete, but Kiegan looks so uncomfortable in that low-rider seat, always trying to look up & over dash & hood to see where he going, even has trouble looking out right side mirror, but hay looking cool must out-weight safety :) that just my opinion. but keep them great videos coming & stay safe out there
I had the same thoughts. Beautiful beautiful rig. But the constant head up over the dash would wear a body down. Not trying to be on here giving negativity, just doesn't seem the safest. But then again, I'm not the young man behind the wheel so maybe I shouldn't comment.
Beautiful rig!!!
I hope to do something like this one day Awesome video
rollin always builds nice trucks
The best movie the chanell!!!!
Awsome paer
beautiful
Me encanta vuestro trabajo...y maaaas vuestros camiones, yo quiero iguaaal!,Bss!!!.
Maybe you could see over the dash if you raised your seat
Good Video
i like video..Great catches!
Pretty freaking dope azz "Pete" 359 but the way folks drive today I wish this kid would put ah damn seat-belt on! #SMDH
It would be perfect if that stacks were just a little bigger
i agree some 8'' would look cool but i like there the old school look matches the truck
badass pete. live the video.
Would hate to polish all that chrome. Nice Truck......
Age makes no difference. It’s all about experience and attitude.
Question big rig: why don’t the old trucks have seat belts?
how much harder is it to make turn or park in truck stops with a stretched frame? sick truck nicely done
looks crazy when looking over the steering wheel while driving, is that dangerous or drives see all, or just for looks, or why seat so low.
HASO805 it's all about the style. Siting low and goin slow
HASO805 You can just get the feel out of a Long nose Peterbilt my uncle sits low as well in his 379 and still controls the rig perfectly, "riding high sitting low"
cool paint and truck
I love that colour :)
i be promoting your channel when i be on tiktiok talking to truckers and friends who truck my brotha
I was thinking the air seat was broken. Looks to me like that LOW would be hard on the legs and back over the long haul.
here's a 359 with rectangular headlights, and how many 379's you see with the 359 headlight's lol
359 rectangular headlights are different than 379 headlights. The 359's don't have the turn signal lights built into the headlights, they are on the fenders instead. Plus they mount differently than on a 379.
MichaelTJD60 lol my point exactly. usually you'll see guys mount 359 headlight assemblies on 379's but rarely vice versa
I've seen a little bit of both. Easiest way to tell them apart in that case is the air breather hoses and the windshield wipers. I always get excited to see a 359 lol
Hank Schrader there not 379 headlights there the last generation 359 headlights... surprised he kept them being alot of guys changed them for the earlier style 359 single round lights but love he kept that he kept them
Jimbo Pursell oh did not know that! thanks for the info!
Why does it seem like to many drivers like to sit so low? Is there some reason in particular I see so many OTR drivers sit like this? I always prefer to sit up high, and have the seat adjusted at the max height so I have have a commanding view over the hood of my truck - albeit just a '15 GMC Sierra Denali 3500 Dually.
ace1usmc I sit low because I don’t like the air ride and the seat bounces and then messes up my foot work for the petels then I also don’t like being close to the steering wheel
How come their flatbeds arent really flat?
Cool truck
Great show idea and truck but some needs show this man how strap up his loads all those Twisties in his straps do my head in
That's awesome
Oh kiegs ya crack me up lol
He drives like he's pulling a 500 ton bridge beam
Air up the seat dude so you can see over the dash.
hey man question. I notice no headache rack? any issues with DOT on that? Also no reflective tape down the side of the flat. Ive in the process of doing the same and was curious if i would catch a lot of shit for it?
Mike Lucas ilove you B,C, TRUCK💕💕
that's a large steering wheel. might have to get a smaller one if u ever get a rotator cuff issue
He looks so nervous the whole time.....Dad's gonna kick his A$$ if he scratches it haha
He looks so young behind the wheel it looks like he stole his daddy's truck..LOL....stunning truck for sure!!!
Would be cool if we could get a car carrier rolling CB.
bitiful colors truck men me encanta desde PUERTO RICO estoy subscrito a uno de los mejore camiones del mundo bing ring trucks texas troca tambien
How does he see over the dash?
How much did that rig cost him in total?
super readu likeeeeeeee peterbilt 👍
beauty

Is there any advantages to using a metal flat deck opposed to a wood 1?
I haul a drop deck trailer. Wood surfaced as well. The wood tears up pretty easily if you are not careful
nice ride guy looks like he cant see over the dash need to raise the seat up a little bit and put a seatbelt on
+adamjulia1 That's the way we roll brother. The seat goes all the way down, the ride is long. You still have blind spots. We have to stand up momentarily to make sure the Right side is clear before turning or moving over. It is what it is. You cant start raising the seat when you are used to having it on the floor. It makes you uncomfortable, and that is the last thing you need when youve got thousands of miles ahead of you. What he is doing is BEING SAFE. If you havent driven an extended hood KW or Pete, you wouldnt know what I speak of with your curb-sniffer or COE ~ (y)
+Tommy Sargeant Amen Sir! I am forced to drive the horrible european trucks but I still recognize a good thing when I see it. It warms my heart to see a professional like Mr Nelson operating a beautiful rig refusing to being reduced to a mere steering wheel holder. Safe roads and keep the rigs shiny!
+Tommy Sargeant siting low and goin with the flow
+adamjulia1 If he couldn't see over the dash I think his rig would be wrecked by now ! ! ! And by him not having his seatbelt on by no means spoiled this fantastic video ! ! ! ! ! !
+MrEdwin57 Shit son....... I use the Force
how old do you have to be to drive trucks I'm only 13 and I am looking forward to doing this?
21 to hold a Cdl
+Ronald Darby 18 to hold a cdl i got mine then. Most companies wont even consider you though until you're at least 21 unless your lucky
Hell back in my day the greatest invention ever was the air ride seat. And then the air ride suspension came out & hell us old truckers thought we were in Heaven. Today it seems like everyone wants to set on the floor. Screw that I want all the air ride I can get under me. If you had drove some of the old trucks I drove way back with the seat bolted straight to the floor you would probably feel the same. Rough as shit & just beat the hell out of you. Caused a lot of physical problems for drivers back then.
Riding low, sitting low. The only way to go.
Look like he's having a hard time seeing .keep looking over steering wheel
I am having a hard time adjusting to low seat, Is that normal? I like driving with the seat up where I can see what’s in front of me.
No, not really. I'll take better visibility over 'looking cool.'
@@charliealpha11f3b2 same
Does anyone know what song it is that plays in the beginning?
Look it's a great looking Pete it has that southwestern theme and I love it but goddamn put that seat up
Where did Kiegan go? Is he driving for himself.
If only some 30 year olds were as wise as that 22 year old. Lol. Kid drivin a 300wb truck and flatbed is not a kid. Haha
esta muy bonito
Bom
Never understood why Texas can't make a straight off ramp instead of putting those damn S curves in them. Bad ass 359 though.
Bad ass
Myself I think he should put some air in that seat so he can c over the steering wheel a bit better. Just a bit dangerous I think. Otherwise nice truck.
Kiegan doesn't drive this truck anymore just so you know
Yup, well aware. I knew the day he stopped driving it.
+BigRig Videos You know what he drives now? :)
+Max W. No I don't. Haven't seen anything.
Hopefully not an '04 Columbia.
Truck beautiful. But we are turkish and far away.
