And after a while, it became un-outdated after Visible reduced their price back to $25.
I’ve been a long time Verizon Wireless customer since they were Bell Atlantic Mobile. I just moved from an old 10GB plan to the Do More plan. I like the benefit of the tablet/watch line discount. Your video was extremely helpful to sort out the different plan features. Much better than the company website. Thanks 😊

i just switched from t-mobile to verizon on their get more plan and i love it so much! i have full bars no matter where i go in town or out of town. i live in nebraska do i need data and i move to rexburg, idaho and need a phone carrier that never loses coverage. all my friends out there have verizon and no matter where they go in idaho or utah they have full bars the whole time. you pay more but you get more

Let me ask this is, I pay the $70 plus plan every month with two lines, that’s about 140. How much do you think I will play if I add two tablets and do you think there will be a difference. I have a galaxy tab A7 for the tablets
I switched from AT&T to Verizon. I have the Get more I say it’s definitely worth it I love the free Apple Music and Disney plus bundle😄 and I have the 14 Pro Max I say it’s worth the switch 😃

Verizon wireless call center employees can also grant $50 bill credits per phone call. They won't tell you that because giving out credits negatively affects their call center numbers, but if you make a few phone calls, you can easily get $50 worth of bill credits.
I have get more and I’m happy with it, I’m on a family plan and have a military discount that is $20 off a month and they let me use the whole $20 off on my line so I pay $35 a month after taxes for it, can’t complain, it’s an incredibly good plan for what I personally pay for it

Wondering if I should drop my old grandfathered unlimited data plan for this get more plan I kept it because I never wanted to worry about getting throttled but seems like they did away with that now.
Keep the truly unlimited grandfathered Verizon data plan as it’s not worth it for the perks. Still kicking myself for giving mine up.
Switching to Verizon in September 2023 when the iPhone 15 comes out! The deal breaker for me, after being on a cheaper plan on T-Mobile is the cheap FIOS home internet for $25 a month! I am trying to cut Spectrum out of the house, and there $150 a month bill, I got a ROKU to replace the cable, and now switching to Verizon for internet would cut me out of there extremely slow 20mbps down internet, and save me money every month. It's a no brainer! A little bit more expensive monthly phone bill, gets me cheap high quality home internet as well, and ROKU with the free cable? Fuggetaboutit!
EDIT: Verizon says on there website the home internet deal ends in July, and the new iPhone comes out in September. Let's hope they keep it active a little longer or I won't switch from T-Mobile as there more expensive monthly bill is no longer worth it.

I have AT&T post paid for over a year the elite plan they changed it to premium but they kept me on elite I always was curious about Verizon but never made the move probably won’t AT&T is killing it we’re I live south Texas

I’ve been with Verizon since 1998. I have 4 lines. 2 on 5g Start and 2 on 5g Play More. The perks are great! Also, the 5g home internet just became available in my neighborhood. I think I will do the 30 day trial, while keeping my current internet (which I’ve been dying to give them the boot for years 💸💸)

I used a lot different plans from Xfinity mobile, US mobile , mint mobile , straight talk , non of them works as good as Verizon plans , i know u pay more but its just works better in mountain areas or in horrible weather.

I have the one unlimited plan and my wife has a Samsung phone she is on my plan and everyone on that plan is switched to the one unlimited plan but with her having a android phone the only thing she can access is the Apple Music

They have 6 unlimited post paid now, as they have an apple plan (One Unlimited for iPhone) that falls at 90 a month that instead of being streaming options like disney/etc its apple stuff(apple music, tv+, etc). Its basically their "get more" plan but aimed at iphone users due to every bonus being apple stream over disney package.
Downside to those "non main carriers" is lots of places their service sucks. My area the only company who seems to have decent enough service is verizon. The other main companies, At&t, Sprint, tmobile all have horrible coverage in the area and more often than not you lose service in too many places. And not seen any of the non-main companies (visible, US mobile, spectrums, straight talk, etc) that had enough coverage that you just don't end up either having horrible connection to your service leading to "1-2 bars instead of 3-4" or just straight up "dead spots" where you just have nothing at all. Which is just nuts as some of the good cheaper non-mains are on the "verizon network" (visible, straight talk, etc) but they just have big "spotty coverage" in this area compared to verizon themselves. Too many I've talked to with other companies as their providers all talk about "lost service" in too many spots and wishing they never changed even if the cost decreased(if have too many dead spots, less cost per month doesn't help). While verizon has only a few spots where the coverage drops(ran into only 3 locations in this area myself where I've lost service with verizon) compared to the others.
And 5g is a joke in many spots still. None of them have it here yet. Sure can have access to it and all, but good luck getting it. No one I know has ever seen their phone ever pop up showing 5G connected anywhere in this area.
We have been with Verizon for 10 years we had switched from t mobile because they had bad data but are Verizon bill is like $490.55 monthly for 9 lines 😢

None. Keep your old unlimited if you can. Verizon changed their LTE data to premium and everything else. Under their unlimited plans it was all premium LTE and unlimited. Under their new plans it’s 50gb of “premium” LTE and then unlimited LTE. For whatever reason they’re pushing this 5G which I wouldn’t use due to serious safety concerns.
It’s all about the details and fine print folks.
I'm still on a very old unlimited plan but wow it has been supper slower than what it use to be. Running speed test proves it's much slower than test year or few years back. I think they have started throttling it or changed prioritization on the data. Been thinking about going with newer plan maybe it will end up cheaper. Also I don't get this loyalty discount. I've been with them 20+ years and been under two other company names.

If I were to switch to Verizon's 5G Play More Plan, bring my iPhone 12 Pro, get the $500 eGift Card, and apply it to my bill, will I be able to upgrade to the iPhone 14 Pro when it comes out in a couple months, and use the "get $800 off a new phone with a trade-in"? Trying to decide when is the best time to make the switch from AT&T to take advantage of the best deals!
If you want the iphone 14 Pro then wait. If you get the $500 gift card, you have to wait a year before you go on an installment plan or they will charge you back for the $500 gift card.

If you sign up for the rebate you can not switch carriers or use the ecard for upgrade purchases within a 1 year time after that time is up knock yourself out lol. brought in my unlocked 13 pro max and imma save that card for a upgrade in the future
Sadly Visible boned you on this one with their timing. Their minimum is now $30. I am sure the mithership ordered them not to undercut their $30 advertised rate, even if that is a family plan. Still Verizon wants that $30 talking point, and can't have subsidiary undercutting that advertising campaign.

Keep in mind that the 80 dollar unlimited plan is not actually 80$ and can very from 90 to 267$ from personal experience.

At&t is better by a long shot but the megenta max is also one to look at. Verizon never has service
T-Mobile doesn’t always have service either, No US carrier has FULL coast to coast coverage that covers every inch of land. As of the 5G networks, T-Mobile is the leader in coverage. I think for LTE/4G it’s Verizon. AT&T is almost a sweet spot of both worlds. They all have pros and cons, no network is perfect.

Pretty sad when you get a salesman the sells you on what it should be, but in reality is not. Always more money than what they tell you. I would never deal with Verizon based on their billing practices. If you have deep pockets or enjoy getting fooled, then they are the company for you.
I upgraded from the lowest to Get more, best plan ever for that price, also get it discounted by 20$ because of school and autopay!

I've been with Verizon for about 10yrs and really never seriously looked at other Wireless Companies. I have 8 lines, ( kids, in-laws + parents ) that I handle and my bill is roughly $450-500/month for Unlimited Data, and I took advantage of the Disney + offer. Thought about going with one of the other big wireless companies, and maybe even one of the smaller newer ones.
You spend $6000 a year to make phone calls and watch Disney movies. Think about that. Do you really need that in your life? Let this be a wake up call. Unless you like dropping 6 THOUSAND dollars to have a phone.

Ignore that other jerk. But, definitely change carriers if you are paying this much. The best thing about Verizon is that when your phone is paid off it's automatically unlocked if you have the phone for more than 60 days. Twigby, Straight Talk, Total Wireless, Tracfone are all big Verision MVNO's. Twigby is the cheapest. If you have Iphone of Samsung their phones typically work on GSM networks as well. There are dozens of GSM MVNO's.

I’m currently on Above Unlimited with an iPhone 13 Pro. I’m a SUPER heavy data user (80gb+ per month) and can’t afford to get stuck on deprioritized. I’m stuck between some options and I’m not sure what to do.. if I ignore perks because I just don’t care about them, what’s the best choice?
1. Stay on Above Unlimited
2. Go to Get More Unlimited for basically the same price
3. Switch to US Mobile Unlimited Premium
For a single line, the most affordable option is US Mobile Unlimited Premium. Granted, I believe the speeds slow down a lot after 100GB. So then the question is, how often (if ever) do you go over 100GB? If never, US Mobile is a great choice for the price. If you do go over 100GB, I would switch to the new 5G Get More Plan. Also, wait, Above Unlimited only had 75GB of priority data. When you go over that, do you feel you notice a speed difference? Because if not, you could get by with Visible Base or the new Visible+ plan. Visible+ has 50GB of premium data for $45.
@@StetsonDoggett So I calculated some theoretical maximums.. with work and all that, I wouldn’t necessarily ever need anything over 100gb. I’ve gone over once or twice before but that was just due to excessive personal data use (which I’m trying to cut back on!). So I would say 100gb is a solid “max usage” for me. Visible seems to have some negativity these days from the Reddit NoContract folks in comparison to US Mobile.. so I’m not against it, but it seems like US Mobile is generally better received? Above Unlimited definitely gets a bit slower after 75gb but it’s never been unusable. I’m sure it would be rough in a heavy use city though. Having the peace of mind with prioritized up to 100gb would be nice as we’re all back into normalcy of traveling and all that. Am I correct in my understanding that Get More is fully unlimited and prioritized with no data caps whatsoever? And for US Mobile, it’s essentially my current plan except a 100gb cap (up from 75gb) until deprioritization just minus the perks?
If this is all correct, it seems my options are either A: US Mobile to both cut my price in half AND increase my prioritized data cap to 100gb.. or B: VZW Get More to remove all data restrictions (except hotspot which is 50gb, same as USM).
US Mobile Premium is the same exact network priority in ALL network conditions as Get More?? Would there ever be any moment where I get put in the back of the line while I’m still within the 100gb? Also.. is EVERY single tower that Get More plans utilize also available to US Mobile Premium activated phones? I only ask because my loyalty to Verizon surrounds their coverage within ski areas around Colorado where my overly expensive phone bill has been the only reason I can connect to medical services and family/friends in the middle of nowhere on a mountain.. most people around here swear by Verizon (and only Verizon) for that reason.

Indian data speed and plans are way way way much better and higher. We get 500 Mbps - 1 Gbps unlimited for free (Jio Trial Offer) and it is expected to continue till the year's end. And for the existing plans, you can get unlimited data at the speed of 30Mbps to 100Mbps at just $10/month. Speed depends upon your nearness to the mobile tower.
P.S. WITHOT ANY SPEED DEGRADATION.

Their 5G Nationwide/LTE network is too congested. 4K streaming would make data speeds slower for everyone.

VZW just gave me an extra $10 / month off. With this, I will save a total of $20 off / month including auto-pay enabled. This is bring my cellphone monthly payment to $77.50 / month including tax. WHO SAID VERIZON IS EXPENSIVE? I was paying $10 / month more with AT&T.
I pay $30.00 less for the same plan and better 5GUC coverage with T Mobile.

If you want good 5G & 5GUC go to T Mobile, you will be shocked how expensive

@Stetson Doggett I have total wireless just received a text I need to renew within 7 days for $40 (5 GB data) That's how I found out about this. I currently purchase digitally $35 for 11 GB 5gb hotspot instant top up at Wal-Mart. The same total plans are rebranded but still avail able!l Now on the total Verizon website no mention of this or those plans and it says need their approval to us their plans. I have a 4 lte phone not 5 g. People are reporting losing their phone number on Verizon site . No complaints at walmart. WHICH is it???
