What factors make the US dollar fluctuate and what might influence movement up or down in the DXY. ?
It's mostly based on the USD vs yen and euro I think. So depending on how popular bonds are, USD goes up or down. But more than that it's the FED's policies. We wont see a massive pump until the FED flips and announces rate cuts. Which will probably happen before the elections at the latest. The EU, canada and swiss have already announced theirs because their economy is as fucked as the american one, but they're having political issues as most countries voted far right at the recent EU election, which is no surprise considering they're broke and having massive migrants issues like at the southern border and cities like NY. Until we get definite rate cuts from the FED, big money will stay risk off, and if the stock market, namely Nvidia goes down significantly, it will drag the entire S&P along with it. One thing to keep in mind is that recent btc prices including that lame ATH was artificial and fully fueled by ETFs, which didn't trickle down ino alts as a natural btc/crypto growth would do, and you can see that most ETF gains have already been wiped, including that pump on the news of an ETH etf. Retracing down is healthier and fits where btc would be without the ETF, and let's be honest, ETFs just make crypto token wallstreet's fucktoy and is nowhere near as beneficial as the maxis like to say.
Interest rate is important, with the current high interest rate in the US people just invest without a risk

I think its a good time to buy some ETH. I sold my BTC that ive held since 2020 at a break even when it hit 45k. Then very stupidity put it back into ADA at $0.8 (10k worth).
