Here’s the thing that I have to admit as a Bengals fan. Deshaun Watson in his 6 games back still showed the fundamentals of what made him a great QB. Great leg work, great pocket presence, being able to avoid the rush, and being able to improvise when the play breaks down were all on full display for his first 6 games back. In fact you could say by his 2nd game back against the Bengals he was showing those skills on full display. What Watson struggled with the most was his accuracy in throwing the football to his receivers while in coverage and not in coverage. He also struggled with his reads as a QB and threw a lot of game costly picks. But here’s the thing, even those faults were improving with each game he played. It makes sense to since he hadn’t played a down of meaningful football since 2020 had ended. He was very rusted and it showed those first 6 games back. This could happen to any player who is gone for an extended period of time. By the end of the 2023 season I expect and predict that Watson will be back with the elite squad of QB’s and the Browns as much as I hate to say it will be SuperBowl contenders for the foreseeable future.
Browns fan for 50+ years. I am tempering my excitement due to the fact its the damn Browns. If there are any chance for something to go wrong it usually does for us. That being said i do believe they have the talent to make a deep run.. Go Browns!
I like the browns in the playoffs versus the chiefs and bengals. They matchup versus both teams very well. If the Browns can matchup with both of them in the playoffs I’m confident they can make a sb run. Gotta get to the playoffs first tho
The Browns, as they stand right now, is a quarterback away from being a Super Bowl contender. That being said, they have one of the best coaches, that has a track record in making quarterbacks better in Kevin Stefanski. A QB that lead that NFL in passing yards the last time he had a full season, in Deshaun Watson. A top 5 O Line. Arguably the best RB in Nick Chubb. D line, on paper is arguably the best in the NFL, with the addition to Shelby Harris. The secondary is top 5, in pass coverage. They definitely have the talent to contend for a Super Bowl and possibly win it.
Great video!! All yhese yrs of being a Browns fan ive never been this excited about a season. I don't see how they can mess this team up TBH. I know our division is tough,but we split with everyone last year and usually do. We've owned Cinn since Burrow got there, Pitt isnt a factor and Balt isnt much different. I feel well compete for the division and make the playoffs, barring some catastrophic injury.
You mean Cade York is the worst kicker in the league and we wasted a 4th round pick when we could've traded that pick for a veteran that can make a 40 yard field goal??
Bro this aged like raw sewage. Watson is cooked. Playing worse than 2 of the top 3 rookies. And acounting for over 1/5th of the cap. Fully guaranteed. Cleveland is f****ed.
Damn, yeah: I keep wishing that the NFL would realign divisions & this year's Browns are another reason why. Baltimore should be in the East, Indy here, the Dolphins in the S. Then the Browns would stand a _MUCH_ better chance of making the playoffs. I _LOVE_ this roster. I couldn't believe that the Vikings let Smith go _or_ that *the Browns* were the team they traded him to. Chubb, Cooper, Myles Garrett. There are So Many Great Individuals to root for on this team, but y'know tainted by The One that no one wants to root for, another unfortunate circumstance.

Also, there is no way they are going to let a silly thing like winning get in the way of Stefanski's play calling. Hence the loss against the Commanders. Until they prove otherwise, the Browns is the Browns. Walker, the LB, tore his quad again. Out for the season again. The main thing obvious in the video, is the word IF. If, if, if. Stefanski will never accentuate the talent of the player. The player has to accentuate to Stefanki's play calling talent, which is still in question. The only thing Watson brings to the Browns is his love of a good massage with a happy ending.
