I don't think you could imagine how much I appreciate this. Not to share too much but I'm kind of a grumpy irritable person. Anytime I watch greyhound videos It just makes me so happy And Magnus is at the top of the list
We lost our Greyhound Bullet at the start of the week. He was 11.5 and started falling to bits since Chritmas. We got him about a year before your magnus videos started. Stroke survivor, back legs wonky, eyesight failing in the dark, lump on his chest and things on his skin, corns in multiple pads, had stopped doing most of the things he used to enjoy. But the big problem was his incontinence. Practically every night last few weeks he'd mess overnight. Both varients and the poo sometimes barely more than liquid. Used to be only occasional. Next stage would have been that happening when we were out and he was looking after the house. Loved him so much. Whole family so upset. Feel so guilty about his passing too. I was there at the end with him and he went so peacefully. Never a fan of the vet, but this time it was like he knew he was where he needed to be - barged past me and into the door when it was time to go in and then walked into the consultation room and lay down on the floor. Watching your video makes me miss him so much, but also helps me remember him. I read that dogs come into our lives to teach us about love and leave our lives to teach us about grief and death.
Thank you for the update on Magnus's healing. So hope he's better every day. Magnus has been very important to us . Your videos were instrumental in our adopting our own retired racing hound. But it's not about our life with hound. It's tl to say here in Virginia, USA. We send prayers every day for healing and strength. For all of you.. ❤

Its soooo lovely to see you got Magnus a companion dog , I think greyhounds need a companion dog it definitely helps boost their confidence and gives them someone they can play with on their level ,my greyhound Luna performs customs checks inside my kitchen bin but the trouble is she likes to take the contents out of the kitchen bin and inspect them on the day bed in the conservatory 😂😂😂
We have Scout almost 4 years now. They get along fine, but they rarely play together. Pretty sure they like having the other around though. Thanks for watching and for taking the time.
@@magnusgreyhound I got Luna a companion dog a Carolina dog their always play boxing but at the end of the day its not the playing its just seeing the dogs so happy together

Hawk is lovely, and looks a lot like our Teddy, although our hound is all blue except very small white spots above the back of his pads. How old are Magnus and Scout. Just curious. Not sure about bananas. My cat loves applesauce (strange I know) which is a good source of fiber and is good for him. If you are unsure what is safe, you can always ask your veterinarian. They will advise.
Great video. I notice that Scout is quite a bit chunkier than Magnus in this video. Are you feeding them the same amount? Magnus is clearly a bigger male dog but is definitely looking quite a bit thinner than Scout.
Thanks for watching. Scout gets less to eat than Magnus does. Quite a bit less. We were a bit worried by Magnus's weight, but the vet said it is due to his age. He is almost 12. Scout has always been a bit stocky, but we have worked over the last several months to keep her weight down.
The way Scout came into the kitchen and inspected the shopping and then trotted off with a shoe had me in stitches.
I laughed too when she walked off with the shoe too.
Its nice to see Magnus still so lively given his age! They're both darlings.

Magnus looks and moves so well for his age! What do you think is the secret to a healthy older greyhound?
Not sure what the secret is, if it is genetics, diet, or exercise. Think the only thing you can do is give your dog's the best life you can.
