See the issue with offensive jokes is that whilst you and the majority of the audience knows you’re not serious and that it’s a joke, some people will see it as saying those things seriously is okay, normalising all sorts of attitudes. Essentially what I’m saying is that by normalising certain controversial/offensive ideas, you’re indirectly enabling people who genuinely have those opinions to feel like it’s okay to, for example, hate black people or ‘hate the gays’ etc.

i feel like the dumbass who said that "misfits suck because they don't say offensive jokes" missed the point as to why their jokes were so funny in the first place. It was their dynamic that made the jokes funny with their comedic timing, not the slurs that they used or other offensive stuff. That said though, they've definitely stopped being funny. See here’s the thing though. It’s funny for a moment in a video. They crammed a video full of racial slurs, rape jokes and more shit I don’t remember. One video, and did that with multiple. That shits kinda not okay.

I don't think saying slurs were the funny part of fitz videos, but the unrestricted freedom to say absolutely anything made it funny and unexpected. At the same time the videos just felt like they were genuinely just a bunch of guys hanging in a loby fucking around, but now they deep the comedy so much that everything feels so forced and scripted. Just enjoy the gaming and the comedy will come with it
