Always fascinating to hear the track put together in a fresh way, after a lifetime of treasuring the classic as mixed for the original LP and 12-inch by Doug Riddick. Tom's use of adlibs and dryer focus on the lead vocal for me confirm Doug's good choices in punching in, and reverb, making the vocal feel subtler, intimate, almost like a balance to the overdriving rhythm section. I wish I had interviewed Patrick Cowley about his painstaking process in overdubbing the synthesizer arrangements in real time, years before computer synch was invented.
RA: I can never get too much of this track from Sylvester. So I’m giving this some BIG L❤️VE. The slow “gospel” vibe leading into the familiar opening, albeit with a twist, & Sylvester’s soaring vocals takes the listener to a transcendent level of ecstasy. Whilst there are some similar mixes by others on YT that are a bit more aesthetically closer to the original mix, you can’t overlook the fact that this mix carries the Tom Moulton name.
RIP Queen Sylvester 🕯🙏
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Very clear remastering of this timeless Moulton remix. R.I.P. Sylvester.

Whhhhat Cut & Splice Put His Ankle In It 🎧🤏🏽🎛️💥🤯
I didn’t hear the young lady climaxing at the end. Other than that, an excellent remix by Tom Moulton. Sylvester would have approved.
The young lady is Sylvester! ;) lol
Merci Tom Moulton keep the Soul grooving. Stay both safe 😉
But where is the funking 💗 💔❣️💓💝 Like
