  • At JJArtworks, when you decide to work with us as a teaching artist, we provide you with training videos to teach you how to run events and operate your own paint party business!
    Here is a quick little video showing you how to setup your tables at a paint party. We show you how to roll on the table cloth, setup your table top easels, put our your canvases, put napkins and brush sets at each painting station, and fill your water cups with water. We love showing artists what we do and how we do it!

    Hey @JJArtworks !! We do same on our side of the planet, except I use small cotton towels instead of napkins (we wash them after) and also for transparent water cups ( so they can see when water needs to change ) + transparent plates to see the color mix better ! 🙂

      Yeah, same here! Paper napkins are a waste, and those red cups are a terrible idea - people will accidentally drink out of those! I use little Rubbermaid tubs and wash them out after (no garbage).

    I'm a Leftie, so i think you should have 1 or 2 setups at the left ends of the table!

    How do you keep your aprons clean? Don’t people get paint all over them?

    • @JJArtworksTV
      @JJArtworksTV  4 місяці тому +1

      Hi Toni, yes paint does get on our aprons so it's fairly impossible to avoid getting paint on them, but customers never complain and it's sort of expected. Just make sure to you wash your aprons often. Best of luck on your journey! ~JJ

    How did you convince the restaurant to let you host a sip and paint there?

    • @JJArtworksTV
      @JJArtworksTV  5 місяців тому

      I would just simply email or call the restaurant to see if they already hold events there, and if they don't, just see if they would be open to the possibility. You never know unless you try! 😀

      Just a quick tip here: many businesses have email addresses that no one reads. You really need to find out who the manager is, by name, then contact that person specifically or you'll probably get nowhere.

    What size are the canvas? Do you offer different sizes or just stick to one size?

    • @JJArtworksTV
      @JJArtworksTV  Рік тому +1

      Hi Jennifer, thanks for watching our video! The canvas sizes in this video are 16x20in but we also use 11x14in and 8x10in sometimes. It's really up to you and what you want to offer your guests/what the guest's needs are. I hope that helps. Happy painting! ~JJ
