Looks like the deck i played back in 2016. Too bad the Auroradon Crystron Combo got banned. It was great to be able to get 2 of the lvl 9 Karakuri + Naturia Barkion + Naturia Beast first Turn every time. Even though it was bad when the other player had handtraps or you had to go second.
Black rose is mandatory i would think, since, idk the name but girl with the green kimono dress allows extra normal summon and shes a lvl 3 tuner, extra normal into kwik or the 1400 recruiter soldier MF. Thats instant black rose access, that should be relevant when u go against trap heavy decks like multiple d prisons mirror force and even bottomless since the recruiter is 1400, he ducks under bottomless. This is essentially your deck’s version of debri dragon revive a low attack lvl 3 aka dandylion, cant bottomless me haha, black rose nuke.
You have a point although against back row decks , decree in g2 and g3 should be enough since they either have road or solemn in main deck when they said 2 or more back row
@stirl9448 A screenshot of the Dueling book would be nice. Its hard to see at a glance whats in the deck. i could be mistaken, but it looks like a 41 card deck that plays 3 upstart.

This is by far the coolest Karakuri build I've ever seen. Everything in it makes sense.

I hope that retro formats will suit your combo needs from the future retro formats of yugioh. They're different beasts.

Really interesting, but the thing i dont get is why playing 3 upstart if the deck is 42 cards
