They are ALL so precious! Without human help they would perish! Thank you to all, also thank you to the local communities for monitoring and reporting those lost babies. THANK YOU to ALL involved!
I just adopted this little cutie and very happy to help. These guys do fantastic work and I wish I can help more! Every saved life counts and these awesome majestic creatures deserve the saving.

We also adopted Larro recently. My child is so excited. It's so wonderful to see so many who truly care for these sweetpeas and to all the amazing Keeper's!!
What a caring, loving group to go save such little elephants and give them a future. She is beautiful and the love for her shines through. Thank you for all that you do!
Such wonderful uplifting dedication to raising these "chellies" (child-elephants). Beautiful to see these African wardens of love involved giving their all for phenominal outcomes .... potential for return to nature, to the wild !!
I had to look her up after adopting her. I want her and all other babies to grow healthy strong eles and roam in the vast Africa. Beautiful baby. The picture shown at the last part of video always brings sadness in my heart as these babies should be following mommies.
So happy that the locals are reporting about orphans in need. I always enjoy watching as the new orphan is greeted by the other nursery elephants and browsing with them. Such love :) Thanks. Love your new SWT animated logo.

I have no affiliation with DSWT other than to have supported them in the past with donations. If you look on Charity Navigator, which is the largest and most-trusted charity evaluator online, you will see that DSWT has a pristine record with 100% financial transparency. If you look them up on Charity Navigator, you'll see their entire financial record of expenses and dispersals. Please consider sending a donation or adopting one of their baby elephants. They exist entirely on donations from the public. As of March of last year (2018)they are about 1/2 million dollars in the red after spending all of their funds on functional expenses. I don't know where they are this year, but I am concerned about those little ele babies. Think about sending a donation!!
That is a lot of work to save an elephant. So much time and resources. Think of the thousand and thousand of dollars it takes just to raise and elephant for 10 years, Take that money and hire game wardens with guns, hundreds of game warden not just a few. Wouldn't it be better for elephants to raise their own babies. Maybe they should use that resources to hunt down and kill those that kill the elephants, and to hunt down those that buy the ivory and hunt down those that make it into art, and hunt those the buy the art. Hang a few in public areas, hang the man that bought the piece of art for his home. Hang him right in the middle of town and leave him there with a sign. Why mess around with the lawless people with money to buy it. Get the poor poach some other way to make money than to poach. Come on there must be many many ways to save the elephant than to save one that may make it in the wild or maybe not. Yes we all think it's cute but saving the elephants one by one when more get killed in one day than can ever be rescue. The number but don't add up; save one, to 10 killed.
Crazy how these orphaned animals are overall treated better than a lot of humans in Africa, if all of these “refugees”(economic migrants) received this level of care and opportunity then they wouldn’t be flooding Europe and costing the native Europeans billions in taxes.
Little cute Larro has come to paradise. Thanks DSWT. Thanks to all loving keepers💖💞💕

Aidan R crazy indeed but not all of Europe is rich you also experience economic migrants but not as a large scale trouble is everywhere in the world
