- The Peperomia Obtusifolia (Peperomia obtusifolia) is a succulent-like variety of Peperomia, originally found in the rainforests of South America. It is nicknamed the Baby Rubber Plant, although it is unrelated to Hevea brasiliensis, the primary resource of natural rubber, and Ficus elastica, commonly called the Rubber Tree.
The Peperomia Obtusifolia is characterized by its thick, upright stems with glossy, spoon-shaped leaves, which store water. In its natural habit, the plants leaves will shrivel in drought and plump after it rains. The leaves are typically a vibrant green but can also have white-and-green variegation that resembles marbling.
Peperomia obtusifolia has the following effects:
Air-Cleaning Plant: In a sealed chamber study of potted plants in carbon filters, Peperomia obtusifolia was shown to reduce formaldehyde by 47 percent
Reduction of Indoor Ozone: Ozone is an air pollutant commonly found in indoor environments. Office equipment such as copier machines and laser printers can emit ozone.
Most varieties of Peperomia plants prefer medium to bright indirect light, but can tolerate low, indirect light. Peperomia plants are not suited for intense, direct sun.
Water every 1-2 weeks, allowing the potting soil to dry out between waterings. Expect to water more often when your cactus is in brighter light and less often in lower light.

Можно было сразу поставить в воду и не заморачиваться с землей , они и в воде дают корни быстро.
I brought one small pot like that and now i have plenty, very fast to grow within one month. Plus this kind of plants water.

It's river sand
River sand is amazing for drainage. My local fire department provides free river sand to locals (for flooding) and they always let me shovel a couple bags for my plants

Привет, при выращивании в булыжнике и воде, добавляйте воду, когда верхний булыжник подсохнет.
Я нарезаю черенки и ставлю в ёмкость с водой, корни нарастают быстро, потом в простую землю сажаю и все. Самое неприхотливое растение

very weird video. the roots will begin to grow in glasses of water, why do you need to plant them in the ground ..... then take them out and put them in water. plus, these are succulents, after a while the roots will rot in the water, no doubt.
if you want to grow plants in a vase with water, then all kinds of creepers are more suitable for this, but definitely not succulents
