Fast forward to 2023 when Kyle Busch lead the last few laps of the Daytona 500 and would've won the race if it wasn't for overtime, where he famously said on the team radio "Back in 1998, that would be the win boys."
Kyle Busch has come close to winning a Daytona 500, he finished second to Denny Hamlin in the 2019 Daytona 500, and he did lead some laps for the 2007 Daytona 500 before Kevin Harvick ultimately won. As for the 2009 Daytona 500, it was only the second time the race would be rain shortened (following the 2003 Daytona 500), but Matt Kenseth wound up the winner. I watched it when it was rain shortened, I was 7 at the time it aired on FOX.
A lot of Kyle Bush articles and videos have been coming up about Bush winning the 500 with RCR I truly feel this could be his year. RCR has good equipment and if anyone knows Daytona? It's Richard himself. This could be another Dale Earnhardt 500 story ending for Bush. I just feel all eyes are on him and I am gonna be on the edge of my seat cheering him on. He's for sure changed for the better over the years and I have grown fond of the guy.
That wreck was all on Vickers and NASCAR'S stupid rules. Mostly Vickers, he went all the way down the track to wreck himself and the field. Nothing JR could do there.
Not faulting Dale Jr for that. The problem was he pulled up too soon. For someone that is a superspeedway veteran, you wouldn’t expect Junior to make a move like that and take out 10+ cars.

Damn, Daniel.

6:35 BTW this segment is a joke, not an opinion or endorsement of America First Legal.
Why even put that in there though? It’s not even funny
😃@@Amstercam0130
Stupid ppl still gonna find a way to think it isn't a joke
Still based tho
@Amstercam0130 the majority of NASCAR youtubers are the most socially inept people I've ever watched
Maybe 2024 could be the year for busch daytona 500
Kyle finally winning the 500 would be pretty awesome and historical but my pick is Ryan Blaney
that demolish DEI comment was hilarious! great video!

That was his year… hopefully he gets it sooner rather than later cuz he’s getting up there in age
2023 was his year before everything had to go to hell like it usually does in the Daytona 500. Damn, Daniel.
Rowdy Busch is still in need of a Daytona 500
Dale jr going nuts on vickers that’s why
Rain shortened race.
One of the biggest reasons why he didn't win.
Feels like 24 is his year
Q: How Kyle Busch Lost the 2009 Daytona 500

Everyone but Kenseth lost it due to rain that night.
6:43 i agree.
Vickers blocks to the out of bounds line, but it's Dale's fault somehow for holding his ground.

It’s 100% Jr’s fault he made that stupid move below the yellow line
@@NRF_Productionsthat was all on Vickers and NASCAR. It's not even a debatable situation. Jr's hands were tied by those two morons.
hey got involved in a wreck. saved yall 20 minutes.
I’ll bet your fun at parties.
You seem like the funnest guy to be around :)
just doing my best to be helpful!
