Great how Cal says " I know this band" when approaching the arena
It gives off a reminder that people in the Star Wars universe have their own version of music, culture slang and understandings. Honestly, when movies or any games bring in really good and enjoyable displays of culture, it's just beautiful. Story line, character development and world building are like the three main pillars of a good novel/movie/game for me.
I love that I did too. I've seen The Hu live and all I could think during that intro was 'This isn't The Hu is it?' it's really cool to see this kind of thing for the story, adding more art and culture to Star Wars.

I knew about the band waaaay before the game came out, so to hear it in the opening scene was amazing. Then, when Cal says "Hey, I know that band..." I was like " ME TOO, MOTHERFUCKER, AND I'M SO DAMN HAPPY THEY'RE IN THIS GAME!!!! "
Yeah I found them qbout half a year ago and during the opening I was like "ha that's funny that sounds like The Hu" and a split second layer realized it actually WAS them. It was pretty great considering me and my friends were playing it and I was like yeah this is that band I showed you guys a while back lol

I have enjoyed just about every part of this game. The combat arena was unexpected but not unwelcome

I KNEW I recognized their sound when starting the game. Such a cool addition.

and then i reached the arena

I thought it sounded familiar during the opening sequence but I was too busy looking at everything to really notice. Then in the arena when Cal remarks that he 'knows this band', it clicked.

I personally Mandalorian music being more like a Gregorian chant--partly thanks to Vode An and similar songs from the Republic Commando OST--but I would play the C R A P out of a Mandalorian game with Mongolian metal.
A friend of mine is only a fan of Mandalorians in SW. He also told me about The Hu to begin with. I'm sure he'd approve 100%, for a second I could believe you're him. xD

Star Wars brought us some absolute BANGERS this year. I can just vibe to the Mandalorian theme but this one makes me feel like I’m supposed to be fighting at least six people simultaneously.

We have a Jedi and a nightsister befriend each other and join one another on the journey, and have a song that’s not orchestral, by an actual band in real life, make it into the world and have it fit perfectly within the universe. This one game did more with the lore than the new trilogy combined (minus rise of skywalker)

I had never heard of this song so Hearing it for the first time, I thought it was alien! I guess with no context, any language could be slipped into Star Wars and it would sound Alien. I love how the fact that this song exists in the star wars universe makes the only 2 canon music genres Jizz and Throat Singing.
A sign of music that transcends basic boundaries for me has always been the fact that I can thoroughly enjoy it, move to it, have it stuck in my head all day... and have absolutely no idea whatsoever what the singer is even saying. Bands like this in the past have been Rammstein, Babymetal, Sepultura... and now The HU. This is good music.
