Wow I learned something new: I always thought that Jesus laid aside his power and divinity, and every miracle that he did was only threw the Holy Spirit.
I wasn't aware that there were many who don't understand that the incarnation alone was insufficient to save. What is your opinion on whether or not God planned the incarnation and redemption prior to the fall?
It's called the Covenant of Redemption or Pactum Salutis made between the Persons of the Trinity before creation. Jesus agreed to fulfill what they knew the first Adam would fail to fulfill, and to pay the price of death for Adam's failure. In this video these guys are more concerned with downgrading Jesus in a Unitarian/modalist sense from God to divine person.
