Ada Wong maybe because star have different path rather than follow the much better path in the manga. In the manga, Sailor Chibi2 is Sailor Cosmos. And Galaxia is just a bored sailor soldier who want to find the greatest and limitless power. Even Princess Kakyu have her own sailor form. But the starlight and 9 senshi killed early.

I'm a 38-year-old man and I grew up watching this series back in the 90's. It helped me find comfort from the bullying I suffered at school as it made me believe that a kinder world was somewhere else for me. Furthermore, the outer Senshi have a special place in my heart as they're a loving LGBTQ+ family. What's so beautiful about SM is Usagi's commitment to never give up despite all adversities, her kind heart full of forgiveness, and her positive attitude towards life. SM teaches us to strengthen friendships and give people second chances, even one's worst enemies. That's the ultimate act of love: atonement for wrongdoings and making amends. I've got teary eyes right now... 😢

In the anime, Chibi Chibi was Galaxia's star seed that she sent off when she absorbed Chaos so that it wouldn't become corrupt, but she instead became corrupted by it. In the manga, Chibi Chibi is actually Sailor Cosmos from the future sent back in time to help defeat Chaos, who she is battling in the future and is losing the war. Sailor Cosmos is Sailor Moon's final form. She isn't necessarily Usagi, just Sailor Moon. Takeuchi left it ambiguous on purpose.
I cried so much during the Stars finale. It reminds me a little bit of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 2 finale. They're both extremely different, but in both of those episodes, the heroine, either Buffy or Usagi, is left all alone. They're all alone to fight a hard, hard battle, but they're both strong. As Angel form Buffy says to Buffy when they're fighting: Angel: Now that's everything, huh? No weapons... No friends...No hope. Take all that away... and what's left? Buffy: Me.
Don't worry you're not alone. The anime is confusing because it doesn't always follow the manga series. The manga series actually made a lot more sense than the anime. In the original manga series, she was actually Sailor Moon's future self, Sailor Cosmos. She time traveled back in time after she lost a huge battle from the future that killed everyone that she loved so she tried to make everything right by travelling back in time and disguised herself as this little girl :-)

I think Rei came after...she was the last one to disappear. Not sure how many people notice but Rei is probably the strongest out of the scouts and the one who always goes to save Usagi first despite how many times they argue. Even here. She died protecting Usagi.
I am not a fan of Sailor Moon but I really liked Sailor Galaxia so much I wished there were more stories about her. She should be beyond than just the most powerful villain.
The last episodes of Sailor Moon are simply great! Sailor Moon against Galaxia has a genial twist, perfect fitting into the story of the hole arc, but still very surprising! The perfect final for a great series!
I really love the stars season, it's my favorite! I love Chibi-Chibi and the Starlights, and it's so sad and beautiful, I fail to see why you guys don't like it.
Maybe because it completely ignored the elements of the manga source (just like SuperS) or maybe it's the rushed and disappointing animation of the season. If we were to compare its animation quality to the likes of Super or SuperS, it does look like a downgrade. Meh, everyone has its reasons. I myself enjoyed Stars regardless of its flaws.

i loved the stars up until this fight scene. Never understood why they had to make her fight naked. What was the point? She is basically flashing Seiya who has had the hots for her since they've met. It has to be awkward when Mamoru returns.

Sailor stars got me into anime. I had seen anime and anime movies in the past in the late 90s early 200s but sailor stars on vhs and the cartoon network/adult swim premier of metropilis with a showing of princess mononoke before was the moment of wait, this is something MORE than a cartoon, what is this. back in the 80's and 90's anime used to know how to depict nudity in a classy artistic way. A lot of it is so blatant now a days.
