- With the release of the 10th anniversary edition of Fair Youth landing next month now feels the right time to put out ‘October.’ Originally slated for No Feeling is Final the song didn’t quite sit on the album tonally, feeling more of connection to Fair Youth. One of the first songs written when the band tentatively began exploring the idea of creating together again, ‘October’ has its roots in a voice memo jotted down in vain hope during the band’s rehearsals for their final tour before they disbanded in 2016.
October is a song about the creative spark, about rekindling friendships and an ode to keeping trying to explore your artistic passions even when that might seem futile. A rare piece of Maybeshewill history that has its significance despite ultimately not ending up being included as part of a larger body of work.

the album "I was here for a moment, then I was gone" saved my life when i first heard it. Maybeshewill have always made awesome, layered and melodic jams - i'm glad you guys are back :) and yeah, this track is a hell of a return to form

You guys got me into Post Rock more in 2013... I was passing my A-level at that time. I saw on a Facebook profile a video with Zinedine Zidane with "he films the clouds pt 2".
Of course, I played this music 100 times in a row haha ! (it's the first track of my UA-cam post rock playlist : "post rock songs best of pépites" if anyone wants to hear +200 banger tracks, it's on my profile ;)
This changed my life musically since I discovered the whole genre. I am now listening to post-rock every day, at work, to sleep, etc.
I went to several concerts (God Is an Astronaut concert was my first one, lucky me !) and I even booked a post rock band to my wedding; it was AWESOME !
I was about to see you guys play in Paris 2 years ago but a well-known virus passed by... no worries :)
