Thank you for the cool episode. Just a quick addition for everyone not familiar with tarantulas: In terms of danger he primarily talked about New World species. There are tarantulas out there, that, while they won't kill you, can really hurt you, even to the point of hospitalisation. So choose your first species with care. That being said, tarantulas do make amazing pets!
