Epic video Ryan ! That was a day to remember for me, getting my helmet camera wrapped in my lines after a massive frontal, then finding myself in a 6m/s climb as soon as I got it sorted. I was too scared to leave that thermal, so I rode it to 2500+, and went on glide straight down Clanwilliam dam, hoping for a brief respite from those hectic thermals.
Awesome! Glad you enjoy, we go through Malmsbury on the way to Porterville :) Season coming to an end here, but some nice soaring to be had in winter - I'm looking forward to it after the summer rock n roll hehe
Hahaha probably taking chances trying to stick a landing like that in such thermic conditions, but it worked this time! If I missed, it was for sure the bushes - suppose that would've made for a more interesting video
Great video Ryan. A bunch of us here in the UK were watching the goings on. It looked like an epic flying day albeit with its challenges too. I flew with Liam in Colombia in February last year. Great pilot. Also Barbs heads up Thames Valley Paragliding club here in the UK so we were watching his stats too. I really liked your analysis section at the end. Very good. Well done. Hopefully I will be able to catch up and fly with you all in March. I'm coming about with one of my club buddies, Ramon, as well. Jeff
